Earth Day Blog Tour

Welcome! The Tour began at Nina Pierce's blog ~ http://ninapierce.com/romanceblog ~ and the previous stop on the tour was ~ Paige Tyler ~ http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com ~

I fell in love with Superman the instant I walked into the darkened movie theater and saw Christopher Reeves flying as Superman. That moment, that magic of falling in love, is branded into my memory forever. As a red-blooded woman how could I ignore those piercing gorgeous blue eyes, that muscular yet sleek all-male body. Then there was his dark sexy hair, the very heroic shape of his face. He became a living Superman for me.

I don't know about you, but me and my girlfriends would occasionally remark and tittering-speculate on certain attributes a man of steel would possess... yep, what would that steely manhood feel like?

This is definitely in the realm of personal fantasies... and I’ve had my share... however, now I get the extreme pleasure of exploring the rod of steel in my own erotic romance novels, BLACK CAT BEAUTY, available from Liquid Silver Books, and HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES, coming soon from Siren-BookStrand.

My hero in BLACK CAT BEAUTY, Devon Zant, is a rising movie star who plays Super Ace, a superhero similar to Superman. His secret, he really does possess the powers of a superman because he’s from another world where such powers are normal. I can tell you this story was a whole lot of fun to write!

Another Superman I fell in love with was Dean Cain in the TV series. What I found most tantalizing and satisfying about this incarnation of the Metropolis Superhero was the relationship between Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, as played by Terri Hatcher. Their love/sexual tension dynamic was far superior to the Superman movies.

My heroes in HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES, coming soon from Siren-BookStrand, have survived the catastrophic weather wars on their world. About ten percent of the remaining population begin to have superpowers in conjunction with the arrival of the Harbinger, a blue star seen through the ash and haze of their devastated planet-world. This particular story was much darker to write because in this world, the characters are struggling to survive and to continue the slow recovery of their bay city, Chrontropolis.

Besides the heroes in my erotic romance novels, my ultimate hero, a superhero in his own right... yeppers, just ask me and I’ll tell you why... is Adrian Paul as the Highlander.

Please, please, Duncan, rescue me anytime, anywere... please!

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 115 ~

Sylva couldn’t move, fascinated with the scene before her, and with the reaction of the people around her. If this had been Chicago, everyone would have been punching 911 into their cell phones and waiting on the arrival of the cops. A brave soul or two might have intervened on Merlinda’s behalf. Nope, Whip Woman had been lassoed and was being gradually pulled forward by a determined Barnabas, the man now considered to be her husband. The wheels of Sylva’s mind spun at flash-speed and her stomach quivered as she considered what was acceptable behavior on this Old West-like Earth.

Zeke whirled around, fierce to get back to his Sylva. Striding through the spellbound crowd, he easily wove though the arm-locked couples. He knew his cousin, Royce, would act honorably, still, he didn’t want him overly tempted by his wife’s exceptionally beautiful charms. Zeke was also mightily concerned about her emotional state since she wasn’t accustomed to life here. Sighting her on the landing entranced with Barnabas’ capture of Merlinda, he halted his steps. His heart wildly drummed over her fire-tressed loveliness. Ferocious as a snorting bull, he felt like charging toward her, butting every man out of his way.

Brandon Routh made Superman look sexy again, now Batman played by Christian Bale is the ultimate hero. Have a good day. :)

These guys are so hot they burn your fingers. *blush* Oops I guess you know I've been touching them now.

Superman set the mark that later superheroes had to reach. Not that many of them have.

Gotta love the Highlander guy. And as for Superman I prefer the guy from Smallville (Tom Welling) but his picture isn't featured. But I have to admit Dean Cain was a looker when the show aired.

Happy Earth Day!
