Baby Cubs, it's mild outside

Baby cubs, it's mild outside. For now, winter is but a memory upon the tame prairie, until the winds o' change sweep through bitterly once again, and the horrendous storms of California attack. Yes, the doors of the lair are open, and the Kougar is smiling with a genuine happiness because her power bill will be lessened. Yay! Yay! The Kougar's frolicking dance ensues.
...incessant rains and winds, more rain expected...that's the weather news for Washington state, Oregon and California...all sympathies extended to the residents. May Bast and the heavenly angels come to your aid.
No, not with the shuddering massive bang of a gigundis earthquake, but with the endless crashing whimper of mud sliding into the ocean...is that California's long-awaited fate?
There was a time in the Kougar's past when the lure of the golden state was an immense gleam in her eye. Not now. But back then, the seventies and eighties, there was freedom, a glorious creative freedom to be had...yes, the priceless gold of creativity and freedom. Not now.
The black foul troops are marshaled, and just waiting for their orders from headquarters. And so it is also, on the heart of the prairies. There's just a tiny bit more room to breathe right now...right now...
Actually, dear Big Cats, the Kougar had intended to discuss her search for the hero of RED LIONESS TAMED, which has evolved into an eye-exhausted prowling search, a search engine odyssey on the world wide web. Nowhere, but nowhere -- from romance cover art to swashbucklers sites, with massive territory in between...like the fantasy art realms! wahoo and wowza! -- Nowhere, Big Kitties, has the Kougar discovered an image likeness of her lone space captain hero. Darn the starhole luck!
Any suggestions from the independent cat gallery out there?

Prairie mild smooches from the Kougar...
