Every male can’t help admiring your amazing looks... three suns? Okay, you’re on an out-of-this-world vacation, staying at an intergalactic paradise with three suns... wow, I wouldn’t mind writing this story... if I had time.

Part 178 ~

Sylva ignored the tiny sensation of shriveling up inside. His gaze was so intense that she’d felt the need to explain her lack of a hearty appetite. Grasping her hands in her lap, she glanced over the food placed on the lovely delicate dishes. Was life here really as grand here as she’d witnessed so far? Not that she believed there were no trials and challenges. She’d seen those too. Her cowboy couldn’t totally hide the concern he had over some danger, she guessed, to both of them. She longed to ask and get it all out in the open.

Zeke mentally frowned at himself for his stern gaze. He gave his woman a grin and picked up the iced bowl of winterberries, presenting them before her. “Try one.” Daintily, she plucked up one of the pinkish red berries, then nibbled a taste. “Mmm... delicious.” She popped the fruit into her mouth, savoring and chewing. Zeke set the bowl close to her. “Only as many as you want, darlin’.” She nodded, selecting another one. Between berries, she asked, “Where do these grow?” Zeke leaned back, enjoying his wife as a husband should. “In the mountains, on the high alpine slopes.”
