Long, long ago the Kougaress took a Black History class while in college. A caller to a daytime radio show moi listens to, told the story of his great grandfather and how he gained his freedom from slavery. A fascinating story of courage, unto itself. However, what he truly called to talk about and what moi also learned about in that class ~ is what is known as the Black Codes ~ these are very restrictive codes that were used to essentially keep black people enslaved despite the fact they were supposed to have been freed. What this gentleman pointed out, was that those same codes are now being used, more and more, in these times, for everyone in all areas of our country.
Yep, it’s about slavery, not about safety.

Know anything about Hellhounds?
No, I’m no expert. I’ve only recently come under their spell as shapeshifters. After all, it’s that time of year.

Siren Publishing has a very unique imprint of books, called Menage
Amour
that basically celebrates the love of many partners, either centered on a
woman (lucky girl!) with multiple male partners (m/f/m or m/m/f or f/m/m/m,
etc.) or on males loving each other (m/m/m or m/m/m/m, etc.)

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...
Part 254 ~
Sylva felt a sweet surge of relief that Zeke’s parents were enthusiastic about her. Yet, she also worried about meeting their expectations. Silly in these moments, she told herself, shrugging it off. “I’m looking forward to meeting your parents.” The compulsion to know about Zeke, what was going on, caused Sylva to send her mind energy in search, as if it was a natural thing to do. She jumped, once the image of him and Ranson formed fully. They had the Long Walker forced against the side of a building and appeared to be demanding answers. “What’s wrong?” Marina asked.
Zeke eased back on the trigger, growling, “I’d be answering. He ain’t a peace-lovin’ man. Or we wouldn’t have been rolling in the mud for dang forever.” Ranson grunted a brief chuckle. “You remember. I’m touched, old friend. I’m waitin’, Long Walker. But not for long.” Ranson pushed his pistol muzzle into the Long Walker’s back. “Wilson Oakes. He’s my contact. But he ain’t who you want. Just a messenger boy.” Zeke checked Ranson’s expression. “Wilson Oakes?” he asked. “Yep,” Ranson answered, “he is a messenger boy. What else do you know, Long Walker? I know you got superior observations.”

Weekly Angelic Forecast from Volcano
Straight from the Carnal Cherub himself...
Angelic Forecast ~ #53
The following week is nearly a carbon copy of the past week, yet with even more of an escalation in intensity.
It is good during this time to concentrate on your life, how it is playing out. Focus on your life as if it were a meditation or a prayer. Look upon it as a sacred movement forward. Notice things in a new light. For, that is what is being given to all of us. A new light. A new way seeing.
Indeed, remember a time when you noticed something new and different about an object, a flower, a place... something shining, a wondrous aspect you’d never noticed before.
That is the opportunity of this week no matter what else occurs.

Wilson Oakes is probably in for some trouble. Sylva is a welcome addition to the family and Zeke has everything under control.
All in a day on Earth II. Love it.

Wow, that sounds like it would have been an interesting class. I just loved history when I was in school! Black codes - sheesh ~kitteny eyerolls~
Gem ~ yep, all part of life on Earth II.
Serena ~ it was an excellent class for its time. I learned all sorts of history that had been ommitted.
