Greetings from the tame prairie, my Big Beautiful Cats, the Kougar is still intact, still in one piece, sorta. What a day!!!
If you have chemical sensitivities, or you know someone who does, then you have a very good idea of what can occur. Many shades of utter hell if the chemical nasties get you.
Yup, that’s what happened. Unfortunately, the public water where moi lives is loaded with chlorine and gosh knows what else. The water, these days, can’t be trusted. It seems health is NOT the number one concern of those in charge. It’s about how much federal funding they can get for putting what the government wants in the water.
The chlorine fumes had settled inside the house and this Big Cat’s reaction was horrendous. Fortunately, moi had an ally she’d just learned a lot about from a radio show she listens to. Bentonite Clay, the kind you can take internally.
Clay draws out the toxins in your system. And it worked. There are still residual effects, especially in moi’s lungs.
So, please, take pity, yes, pity, on those of us who have these sensitivities. Don’t drench yourself in perfume. If you smoke, please do so as far as away as you can. Don’t expect us to drink tap water and be okay. There’s a good chance we won’t be.
Medical science has no good answers to this Big Cat’s knowledge on healing chemical sensitivities. Only knowing alternative medicine has saved this Big Cat girl many a time.
That’s why the health care bills in Congress, so far, are absolute killing fields for those of us like the Kougaress. Even entering a hospital can kill you, given the cleaning products they use. And what good is health insurance if nothing in modern medical practice can help you. In fact, it can easily kill you.
Yet, they plan to fine those of us who refuse health insurance. We’re refusing to be killed by their health care system and being horribly penalized for it. Where’s the justice in that?

Authoress news and mews ~

Nope, the Kougar is not in the running. However, she appreciates everyone who is reading the story and voting for it.

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 263 ~

Sylva raised her brows. “Talkie device?” Marina grinned, her face lighting up. “Just what me and Grant call it. A personal com device. Is the technology, here, different than your Earth?” Sylva nodded. “Far as I can tell, there’s similarities and differences. We don’t have flying cars. But, that’s only because the corporate cartels have suppressed them, in my opinion. What’s the power source in your flying cars?” Surprise registered in Marina’s eyes. “No flying cars? We’ve had them for the past fifty years, at least. The power source has changed somewhat. There’s three popular ones. We use solar magnetics.”

Zeke stepped to the side, lowering his pistol a tad. ”I need a private word with Ranson before anything goes down here.” Unhurriedly, Matt moved back. Leaning his frame against the brick wall, he folded his arms. “I’ll wait right here.” Ranson swung before him, tough as nails. “What are you gonna report to your employer?” he demanded in a whisper. “The truth. Didn’t see nothing take place, did I?” The Long Walker eyed Ranson dead-on for a moment. “You still want an inside operative, I’ll partner with you.” The two men studied each other. Ranson nodded pivoting toward Zeke.

Ugh... As an asthmatic I know exactly what you're talking about! Strong ~I must bathe in it~ perfume, does me in. But more so are all of the new, plug in, spray around your house, put in your carpet scents. I have to leave the house I encounter them in. My folks used one of those furnace filters with the scent added once and I left in the middle of a card game...I just can't take it. :(

Glad to hear you found a natural remedy to help. Stay healthy vibes coming your way, Lady Kougar!

Serena ~ yep, I'd have to leave to if I encountered those, too. All that stuff is deadly.
I'm grateful the Bentonite Clay did work. I actually felt my lungs seize.
Blessings to you! Sending healthy vibes your way.
