Oh meow too bad, so awfully sad, that some idiots, yes actually they are, downloaded an illegal copy of an author’s book and their computer ended up with a nasty virus. Oh, gee, like e-swindlers really care about the health of your personal computer.
Consider this, oh ye of too many lost brain cells, there are those who would take great hacker joy in spreading viruses that way. Like a gaming victory, only for real. Get it?
Why are these particular idiots actually idiots? They e-mailed the author to complain her illegally downloaded books gave their computers a nasty virus.
This Big Cat author would be tempted to e-mail back, yowling, Yay! For Karma! Really, how stupid are you?
Believe me, if this Big Cat had any tech wizardry skills at all, she’d be looking for ways to help karma along. Ways, of course, that aren’t illegal. A tail flick added for emphasis, here.

Sylva nodded. “Looks that way. I should never have said anything. All I care about is that he comes back okay.” Marina nodded. “That’s how I feel. I have a ‘hunch’, myself, big brother is okay.” Sylva noticed both she and Grant still retained hold of their guns, even it was in a relaxed manner. “This waiting is tough.” Sylva rested her chin on her palm and sighed impatiently. “Never gets easy,” Marina agreed. Sylva squirmed, raising her head up. “It’s going to take me some time to get used to your way of life.” Curious, Marina gazed at her.

Zeke drew his pistol back so the muzzle merely rested beneath the Long Walker’s ribs. “How do you know it was a Secret Circle coin?” After a few deep breaths, the Long Walker continued, “I’ve worked several scouting missions for various members.” Ranson leaned his weight against the man’s back, demanding, “You mean trackin’ down those folks who the Secret Circle wants to kidnap and use.” The Long Walker shrugged. “Most of the folks weren’t ‘special’. I proved it and spared ‘em.” Ranson sneered, “You want a medal of honor for that?” The Long Walker didn’t move a muscle. “Nope.”
