Yep, the final snippets ~
Stallion of Ash and Flame - Snippet #9
Chapter Nine ~ The Portal Key
“Why not just abduct me if they wanted the device?”
“Intergalactic Federation rules. No humans like you abducted.”
“Like me?”
“Non-enemies to those races in the Intergalactic Federation.”
“Unlike some in Earth’s Shadow Government.”
He nodded. “Like I said, the Fire Starters are already violating the rule against the type of mining they’re gearing up to do. If they were caught abducting you, they would be banished from this sector of the galaxy.”
“So, they get others, humans, to do their dirty work.”
“With you detained by the Sheriff, they could have ransacked this place looking for the device.”

Stallion of Ash and Flame - Snippet #10
Chapter Ten ~ Personal Battering Ram
She remained silent for moments, her body still. “Okay, Mr. Save-the-day Stallion, what now?”
“Time for some smoldering action.”
“Smoldering,” she began, outraged.
Trail dived his phased hand inside the semi-truck. He flattened it on top of a huge box, sending sparks into the dry cardboard until it burned.
Staring at his hand as he phased it back to full flesh, she demanded, “What did you do?”
“Started a little fire.”
“Oh.”
“Be prepared to run once we’re inside.”

Chapter Eleven ~ A Drop of Blood
“You haven’t delivered my request yet, V’Trailuc.” The Hjorior’s voice boomed through his particles.
“No,” Trail telepathically returned. “We’ve been busy saving Earth from those who would plunder its gold.”
In one tick of time, they stood before the Hjorior, inside a more welcoming area of his craft. Beams of pastel light created a beautiful sheen on the slightly curving walls. Trail pivoted, wrapping his arms around Seneca, bringing her close to his body. She blinked like an owl caught in the beam of a high-powered flashlight.
“Successfully, I see by my overview of your adventures.” The Hjorior looked down his beard at them.
“And just who are you?” Seneca demanded, her tone like a fuse about to be lit.
“An ancestor of sorts, Ma’Blechiunna.”

Chapter Twelve ~ The Love of a Good Horse Shifter
“Every mare needs the stallion who not only loves her, but knows how to handle her with the right persuasions.”
She cocked her head, her chin defiant. Challenge glinted in her eyes. “Is that so?”
Trail didn’t regret his words, but his mate expected an answer, proof for what he’d just claimed. Letting his passion ignite, he started with her face, then scorched his gaze downward in a deliberate perusal of her body. He did what he’d wanted to do every time he’d seen her, let her know how alluring and sexy he found her. Let her know he was ready to mount her until she begged for mercy, or for more.
“Oh God,” she breathlessly burst out

Chapter Thirteen ~ Heart Mate
Leaping up the steps, he positioned the groceries and dinner under one arm, then turned the handle, entering. “Home, honey,” he yelled.
“In the kitchen,” she sang back. He listened to her pause as he moved toward her. “Do I call you the mystery hero who took down the Looney Tunes sheriff?”
“Stud is better.” He walked into the kitchen, dropped the Artie’s bag on the table and sauntered toward her.

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...
Part 271 ~
Sylva echoed, “Stella?” Zeke wrapped her hand inside his. “Seems the Long Walker, Matt, was being tailed himself by the brother of Stella because she’s with child.” Sylva watched Marina’s eyebrows hit the ceiling. “Shades of the olden times. May I assume Matt wanted to return to his lady love?” Zeke nodded. “So, it appeared. What’ya think, Ranson? Matt sounded damn sincere to my ear.” Ranson gave a short nod. “I’d say so. Might be willing to play life straight with a child on the way.” Marina glanced at Ranson. “That generally changes a man’s motivation right quick.” Ranson nodded.
Zeke lifted his Sylva’s hand, briefly pressing a kiss on her knuckles. “What’s everyone hungry for? I could go with a tall stack of buckwheat pancakes and sausage.” Ranson heartily laughed for moments. “Only Zeke here could put away pancakes until the cooks at university threatened to go on temporary strike.” Zeke mock-frowned. “Me? What about you downin’ all those fried eggs every morning. The rest of us would still be bleary-eyed from a ribald night in town and drinkin’ coffee and tomato juice while Ranson here was scoopin’ in the runny yellow eyes.” Grant grinned at Zeke. “Ribald night?”

Congratulations on the release, and great Courtship post.
Sylva has a lot of people to learn and understand.
And what's with Ranson? He has hidden depths, I'm thinking.
gem
Love the snippets!! Trail is sigh inspiring! ;)
Gem ~ thank you. Yeah, Ranson is coming into his own.
Serena ~ Trail is certainly a man-stallion after my heart, and, of course, Seneca's heart. In the end, that is.
Happy Release Day again, Savanna! Trail is my kind of hero!
I've rated it a 5 - it deserves more!
Hey, Lindsay, a big thank you.
The universe works in strange ways, I tell ya. I just received a Google Alert that Insatiable Dark is now on Kindle. So, of course, I take a look and discover it looks great, however, one person gave it a 1 rating.
So, now, I see your comment and your lovely words for Trail. Thank you again.
Oh, and may I quote you?
Savanna - you may certainly quote me!!
I think you're right about the 1 rating - that's a sad, jealous person for sure.
It's a real shame and horrible when it happens. I'd had it, too. I imagine most writers have.
Lindsay, thank you!
It is sad. If a reader truly feels that way, I respect that. Everyone has a right to their opinion and assessment.
I do find it distressing and sad that there seems to be this vindictive, tear other authors down attitude a few people have.
But, cest la vie ~ from what I can tell most readers don't go by reviews, anyway.
