Kiss for Sun Rocket Kahoqua of the Windgrass Clan

'Tis a bittersweet purr-rumbling day for the Kougar. Her paws are dancing on air and there's a squinchy euphoric smile on her face. It must have been the sweetest of omens yesterday. Among the Kougar's tall stands of autumn-drying horse weed, a beautiful girl cardinal hopped, cocked her red-feather head and fed on the seeds. All to the predatory delight of the Kougaress, safe inside her lair -- and very glad she hadn't chopped down the exceptionally healthy crop of horseweed...yet. Since she has prowling-discovered the resident flock of cardinals love feeding there and birdie hanging out.
Omen...yes, the Kougar's omen. Her lioness-were short novella, Sun Rocket Kahoqua of the Windgrass Clan ( title change in the works) is an adventure erotic romance aboard a space vessel, and has been sold to an e-publisher. Details later, as all develops, hopefully to the happiness of everyone involved. Yay! Roar! Yay! Roar! And an ecstatic roll on the carpet -- er, grass sort of carpet.
The bittersweet...no, not the bittersweet chocolate brew the Kougaress laps up like coffee for some and is too tail-switching fond of (one must occasionally be socially humble to the prevailing wisdom despite the Kougaress's blinking disagreement) -- no, the bittersweet of good news mixed with the sadness of loss. Two more American Title IV finalists in Romantic Times Magazine's Dorchester Publishing sponsored contest -- have been eliminated from the competition today.
The Kougar would offer them personal condolences, but the secret must be kept under paw until the voting resumes. However, her heart wraps around them in a gentle long hug. And she knows they will prevail in their writing dreams.

Bittersweet kisses from the Kougar...
