Hello, Big Kittie Lovers, today's topic as I leisurely rise and stretch into the new day. The Kougaress does most of her paw scribblings at night -- while she hunts for owls, of course. Anyway, the topic -- the Romance Cover Art of Max Ginsburg.
*Purring-appreciative moi* adores most cover art, especially that impassioned moment blatantly decorating the covers of our beloved romance novels, well...as much as she adores lapping up pure rich cream -- or, okay, the cream swirling in her hot chocolate, and definitely the whipped cream on her pumpkin pie. Hunting the wild pumpkin, it's an art.
Ah...the incomparable brush strokes of Max Ginsburg creating our love-glowing heroines, our love-bold heroes. The Kougaress followed the link kindly supplied in her e-romantictimes mag -- amazing! Mr. Ginsburg is selling prints and originals paintings on his website. What a stellar euphoric sauntering through the history of romance cover art, let alone the amazing enchanting sensuality of his art.
If any romance writers, all of us Romantic Big Kitties, simply wish their batteries of inspiration re-charged, lope on over...enjoy...enjoy with your heart and your lover's soul.
On a personal kitty note, the Kougaress wishes her hunting skills were such that she could purchase a few prints of her own.
Upon the grace of another personal note...a big ole' auntie smooch on the cheek of my nephew, Max, who is enjoying his first year at University. Girls, he's an adorable version of Spock. And I have his picture to prove it, complete with pointed ears and uniform.
