Jingle Bells, Shotgun Shells... Granny's got a gun

Kinda festive and rustically pretty, shotgun shells as holiday decorations...
Pic from ~ ~
1956 Grandpa shows grandma how to shoot a gun

To quote an old movie from the 50's, I guess when you're looking down the barrel of a shotgun, everything else looks out of focus.

UPDATE: Yes! They are my "real" grandparents! 1956 is the year when my father was born, their first son.

Yep, dearest holiday happy Big Kittens, this opening version of Jingles Bells has been playing in the Kougar’s head... meow! Jingle bells, Shotgun shells... perhaps, because she’s been penning western stories recently... or, it’s just catchy and sentimental... from moi’s kittyhood... or, there’s some Banksters who deserve a butt full of lead... frustration frowns, though, she couldn’t remember all the words, even though as a little kitty girl she used to sing it to herself during the holiday season... so... yep, an internet search can be a fun and enlightening adventure... and image searches are often like a box of chocolates... you just don’t know what you’re going to get... like this incredible black and white pic, so reminiscent of the Kougaress’s earliest years... and gee, meowsa! Would she have loved learning how to shoot that big gun!

Jingle bells, Shotgun shells
Granny had a gun
Shot me in my underpants
and boy I had to run!

"Jingle Bells, Shotgun Shells
Santa Claus is dead
Rudolph took a 45
And shot him in the head!"

Jingle bells, shotgun shells, rabbits all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in grampa's Model A!

Shotgun shells, Santa smells,
Rudolf ran away,
Oh what fun it is to ride
in a beat-up Chevrolet!

Jingle bells, shotgun shells,
Santa Claus is dead,
Rudolf got a .22
and shot him in the head.

Jingle Bells, Shotgun Shells,
BB's in the air.
Oh, what fun it is to ride
in Santa's underwear!"
MEW-SING NOTE: This Big Cat girl never did understand why ‘in Santa’s underwear!’ ~ or, what is was supposed to mean???

Now ~ FIRST! just for the big cool cats ~

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 343 ~

Sylva had never felt this type of ownership. Her man. She splayed her hands on his incredibly strong back and rubbed long circling caresses. His gaze studied her and at the same time ravished her. “Hmmm... maybe I need lessons in rubbing down a stud,” she murmured. Within the depths of eyes storms brewed, making her uncertain. “Dang it, Sylva, it feels too good. A stud isn’t supposed to beg...” he halted, his expression perplexed. “Darlin’, what I’m trying to say is that I should be giving you a relaxin’ massage.” It was Sylva’s turn to be perplexed. She frowned.

Zeke scrambled to think his way through this situation. Lord knew, he didn’t want to discourage his beautiful wife in any way. Damn besides, her little hands ‘rubbing him down’ felt mighty exceptionally good. Too good, as he’d said. “Sylva,” he began, and stopped. “I don’t understand,” she offered in the silence. “A massage would be heaven, especially from you, naked cowboy. But, what if I want my hands all over you, giving my stud husband a massage.” His eyelids shut. Zeke let a groan escape. “The care and management of a stud is one matter, spoilin’ him is another.”
