E-Mailbox Disaster!!! Scrooge Strikes...

December 21, 2009

Yep, dearest Big Kittens, the worst has occurred. Scrooge struck and the Kougaress has lost all of her email and she is definitely screwed big time.
Whew, she did save her email addresses, but not all the emails. But, unless moi can do a prior point restore thingie that works, then she’ll have to add you to her re-installed mailbox.
Why did this occur? Because of a virus and a stupid virus program that took over her computer. The Earthlink file was corrupted and now all the emails she was saving are gone!!! Okay, so she attempted to find a way to save them in a file, on a CD, but it never came about. How do you save emails to a file? Every time moi tried, it didn’t work... so this un-savvy KitKat is now in a world of hurt!
But, what’s meowing-new about that?
And you?
How did the first day of winter treat you? Hopefully, you had a merry and productive day... or something a lot better.
Course yowling-true, if she’d lost her WIP, etc. files that might have been worse. Although, hopefully, they are all backed up!

Now ~ FIRST! just for the big cool cats ~

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 359 ~

Sylva wondered if she dared touch the pattern of jewels. She knew there was a potent energy present. Her hand lifted and gradually moved forward, then hovered. “Sylva.” Zeke’s concerned warning came too late. Her fingertips grazed along the outline of the strange eagle’s wing. Immediately, she lurched back as a strong mist flowed before her, and formed above them. A terrible screech vibrated the air, then a long thunderous call. Craning their necks, they stared at the resplendent flying creature. “Firebird,” she murmured. “Fire Phoenix,” Zeke uttered. Basically dark in color, it’s ultra smooth feathers glistened in aurora colors.

Zeke protectively grabbed Sylva’s shoulders, pulling her close to his body. He wasn’t certain why fear didn’t grab him by the short hairs. Part of him soared with the Phoenix. Part of him, also, flapped the great wings tipped with fiery red feathers. The same color of intense luminous red flamed lengthwise along the eagle-dragon bird’s aero dynamic body. Suddenly his woman’s arm raised. Her hand formed an arrowhead that followed the mystical creature’s flight. “Return,” she intoned, sounding like a priestess to him. In perfect obedience the Fire Phoenix dipped lower. Transforming back to mist, he merged with stone.
