Oh drizzle and rainy cold, my Autumn beautiful Big Kittens... the Kougar fueled up her prairie transport... and yee-yowls, the wind sweeping through was damn cold, not to mention the raindrops were hitting-in-the-face chilly. Brrrrr.... and no, moi did not dress her human form quite warm enough.
And she is beat after a tough day of procuring the necessities. Whew... and good luck mews... she also missed flu shot day, which is scheduled for tomorrow. This Big Cat girl doesn’t need to be exposed to all that nasty viral shedding.
Did you know, statistically, more people get the flu after a flu shot than those who don’t get them?
Why bother? Truthfully, this cougar gal doesn’t get it. In fact, she knows several cases where people have nearly died after receiving the shot. And, statistically, those who get three flu shots in a row are far more likely to get Alzheimer’s. Hello-screeching maow... mercury is used as a preservative, even though they say it isn’t. Just read the actual insert. There it is as Thimerosal. Mercury stores up in the body and must be de-toxed out.

The Kougar got the ole Google Alert for HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES... there it was, up for bid on Ebay, a new mint condition, print edition. As it turns out the starting bid price, $16.00, was in line with the what the book sells for at Barnes and Noble ~ $15.50... less if you’re a member, and they do add tax *Insert personal comment here: Booooooo... hiss!* ~ However, there is free shipping if your order is over $25.
Tickled-giggling ensued for the Kougaress, yep a delightful yuk-yuk, when she noticed the sales ranking for her book ~ an amazing, incredible, phenomenal... ta-da... wait for it! Number 99,925.
Well, moi had to wonder how low that was compared to all the other books offered by Barnes and Noble.
No, not being so inclined and not being a sado-masochist author type, she didn’t go on a mad foamy-jowl search to discover how her book stacked up. Big-however, she did order another bookie ~ SUPERGIRLS by Jim Madrid ~ recommended by another author... and, tail-slashing to her surprise! That book’s sale ranking was One hundred thousand twenty-three *something, something, something*.
So, there ya go... SUPERGIRLS isn’t selling as well as HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES... so far.

Sylva nodded and gave them a small smile. “I think I probably already said that to Zeke. It’s just that...” Sylva shrugged, not knowing what to say. Marina leaned forward, patting her hand. “You’re just gettin’ your legs.” Grant agreed with a short nod. “Wobbly as a just-born foal.”

Zeke observed the interaction between his Sylva, his sister and Grant. So far, luck hung like a horseshoe over his proverbial door. His bride was fittin’ in better than he’d imagined. He’d have to foster this good beginning for dang certain. Close knit families always reigned supreme in his world. That didn’t seem to be the way on his bride’s Earth, from all that he’d learned. Truth to the wide open sky, loneliness possessed his gorgeous wife. He witnessed it in every line of her body and in the deepest turquoise facets of her amazing eyes. The ache of loneliness.
