Wireless I Spy

First, good and wild Kittens all, What if You Could Shift for Halloween? That’s the title of the Kougar’s blog at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, Tuesday, October 6th. Wouldn’t that be one wild and crazy Halloween party, if we could all morph into our favorite form of animal-human? No fake tails, no fake ears or fake fur.
Meow! That would be a fun story to paw-pen... alas, so many ideas, so little time.

Imagine this Big Cat’s NOT surprise at learning if a room is filled with wireless gadgets and equipment... gee, oh, gee... how did this happen? Everyone and everything in the room can be seen. Yeppers and yowl, that technology exists, now.
Oh, but no one will use it, will they? Privacy is so sacred in this day and age.
Moi will not be taking any bets on that one. In fact, she’ll definitely bet everyone and their Big Brother who can use, is using it, or making plans to use it.
Plus, consider this. What about those tech whiz people who could use wireless like a virtual camera? Suddenly, you and your private business is featured on YouTube. Not to mention extortion becomes a whole new lucrative venture.
But then, those poor fools who founded our beloved country had no idea what they were doing or what they were about when they basically said a man’s home is his castle and stay out unless you have a valid warrant for a valid reason.
Nope, they weren’t victims of oppression and didn’t experience every manner of cruel injustice.
Nope, they were just old fuddy duddies who had no idea about the dangers we all face today... yeah, what’s more dangerous than someone who has direct access to every part of your life... it’s certainly not some so-called foreign threat.
With this kind of tech intrusion and with all the tech intrusions that currently exist and will exist, who becomes more dangerous, who has the ability to actually destroy your life and the life of your loved ones more easily? Why, it’s the neighbor, the ex, or the government official who hates you for whatever reason, good, bad or ugly... and has you arrested for grass over three inches, then takes away your home... yes, this has occurred in our beloved country and is merely a microcosm for every horrible injustice that has occurred and is continuing to occur as corruption grows by leaps and bounds.
Besides, whatever happened to IT’S NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS? That’s what this Big Cat misses about the good ole days. People would actually say that and mean it. They had a right to say it and mean it. They took ownership of their lives in meaningful and grown-up ways. They had private business and they didn’t mind letting you know it if you over-stepped... THAT’S NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.
Gosh, this Big Cat misses that phrase, more than she ever thought could happen, especially in this current wimp, bow-down, tell-all culture.

Sylva felt herself blink several times with astonishment. “No wonder portals open up here. Don’t the pyramids act like time machines sometimes or gateways to other worlds?” A sudden quiet surrounded her. Tentatively, she gazed at everyone’s face in turn, all of them solemn and pondering. “It was believed the power created by the pyramids wasn’t strong enough to cause that affect,” Zeke softly explained. “There’s been no direct scientific proof, so far,” Ranson added. “Still, that don’t mean it ain’t happenin’.” He swigged his coffee. “If it is true,” Marina began, “maybe we could use it as a gateway.”

Zeke nodded, finishing, “To Sylva’s Earth.” Grant flipped his fork, then tapped it, thinking. “This is somethin’ we all need to keep under our hats. Too many bad guys out there.” Zeke met Ranson’s gaze. “Yeah, the SS would be all over it, using it for their gain and no one else’s,” Ranson quietly uttered. Silence gained another foothold for long moments. “Still, all speculative,” Zeke reminded. “Yeah, speculative,” Grant agreed. “What I said before still goes, though. It’d have to be a private business.” Marina’s face brightened. “I think it’s all exciting as I anything I ever heard before.”

On a personal level, truth is one of your best allies. That is, the heart-pure desire to know what the truth is, no matter what. And only you can decide what that truth is, for yourself.
