Pocket Mouse Crisis

Yep, dearest stay-warm my Big Kittens, a mouse crisis, two of them... mewing-however, the Kougar’s latest is her darling little pocket mouse by Kensington... nope, it’s not happily clicking for moi... for goddess knows what reason. Okay, the Kougaress did clean the bottom guck off as she does periodically. Nothing seems amiss with little mouse, however, except for Microsoft not recognizing the program, anymore.
Yep, she had a big Logitech mouse in reserve and it’s working great... but, roaring-complaint, it feels awful to use, because it is BIG. Too big to use all the time.
What? Does everything have to be designed for the size of a man’s hand? Hey, moi’s human hands are considered, probably, on the small side of medium-sized. Not even petite, yet the regular sized mice are just too yucky-feeling big. B-I-G!
So, this Big Cat’s solution that she hopes works... ordering a kid-sized mouse which is not wireless and has the same measurements of her pocket mouse. Hopefully, it will live up to the description ~ being compatible to XP.
So, with all the time consumed searching out a mouse solution, no, not much authorly penning happened.

Just for Halloween-mood grins, the Kougar posted ZHARIO OF THE DARK SERVER UNIT, her 1,000 word Vampire Romance as a Flash Fiction Novel at TextNovel, after she posted the next chapter of CURSES WERE STRANGE BEASTS. The response has been favorable. Big Cat smiles here. Thanks to all who have read it and voted for it.

Sylva stood as her cowboy husband presented his hand to her. His eyes gleamed at her so much, she could smiled and glowed inside as she moved to his side. “I would never have believed all this could happen to me, being here. Being here with you.” He hooked his arm with hers in a romantic and affectionate manner that made her sidle closer, then lean against him, fitting her curves to his hard frame. Sylva wondered if she’d ever take his tall, magnificently muscled body for granted, assuming they remained together. Yep, hope had her, for good or bad.

Zeke surely appreciated the feel of his wife. Inside he rolled like a stallion in good dirt as he escorted her from the diner. Course, he scanned the immediate area before strolling along the sidewalk. His sister and Grant walked behind them. “Rain on the way,” Marina commented. “I smell it coming in, especially the yearning of the cactus. They want to bloom. Can you smell anything, Sylva?” Zeke squeezed his bride’s hand gently. “Smell it, darlin’?” She snuggled a bit closer. “I smell the prairie grasses. And what I think is sage. But, the sky is clouding over, ominously.”
