Flash ~ After the Kiss

Oh, most delightful Kittens, talk about a flash. Sunday is here and gone. All in a flash of time. Whiz. Bang. Thank you, ma’am. That’s how the days are going. Though, not always with a thank you. Geez and meow.
Today, Roscoe James, not only hosted Flash Fiction Sunday at the Liquid Silver SEx blog, but presented flashies of his books... kisses and so much more!
Thusly, the Kougar followed his lead ~

From moi’s current WIP ~ BRANDED BY THE TEXANS ~ the after affects of the first kiss...

“I’ll bet you say that to all the women you kidnap.”
“Never kidnapped a woman. Never roped another woman ” Dillon halted. “Well, dang it, there was Velda when I was twelve. I was practicin’ with the loop. She happened along saying she wanted to be roped. Offered to be a calf.” Dillon repressed a chuckle.
Kylie regarded him dubiously as Diamond picked up her pace. The trail had straightened, gradually sloping downward following the immense valley on the left hand side of them.
“You kissed her, didn’t you?”
“Several times. Then, and later. I hear tell she’s happily married now.”

Remembrance of their hotter-than-sin kiss hardened his loins and traveled up his cock. He ignored it, keeping his gaze trained on her face.
“Happily.” She slung the word at him like a whip’s lash.
“You don’t want to be happily married?” Dillon turned the tables while his insides soared. With her feisty spirit she’d rein them in like they needed. He didn’t own any illusion that he’d be stud dominant with her during their lovemaking or whenever she stepped out of line. Still, he and his brothers would do good with a woman directing them at times, like all men.

“Happily married,” she spat, venomous as a baby rattlesnake. “I don’t know many people who are actually happily married.”
“It’s required here.” Hellfire, he’d just opened another door to the differences between their Earth dimensions.
“Required?” She cocked her head, more adorable than his pups. “How does that work?”
Dillon decided on bluntness. “If you’re not happy after a year, you can choose another man. That’s our way here.” Her eyes widened like saucers. “Yep, there are a lot of differences in culture here.”
She scowled, her eyes stormy. “Like abducting women. And,” she huffed a determined breath, “spanking them.”

Go, Larry... go, Larry... go, Larry...
Larry Flynt, a champion for free speech has, once again, come to the defense of our freedom at the Huffington Post ~ http://huffingonpost.com/ ~ Yes, the Kougaress doesn’t care one bite’s worth for Hustler magazine. So what. There are those who don’t care one fang for her books. What remain’s vitally important is our free speech and the continuation of our beloved country, where free speech is not only preserved, but valued as everyone’s right.
Go, Larry, say it like it is.

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....

Part 239 ~

Sylva had always gone into orbit, as her mother would say, over the type of forties swinging dance dress that was being held up before her. By her own eye, she figured the dress would fit her well enough. Julia Roberts-woman smiled, knowing a customer when she saw one. “If you’re agreeable, Mr. Vintorr, this frock could be sized perfectly for your wife. I could also have our designers custom-create as they often do for your mother and sister.” Zeke gave her shoulders a squeeze. “A word with my wife,” he politely drawled. “Of course, I’ll go wrap these two.”

Zeke moved before his Sylva and tipped up her chin. “We have a technology here that takes your size. A three-dimensional shape.” As her eyes widened with speculation, he grinned. “No, not nude. It’s like a mannequin, only in a seamstress program.” She raised her brows, her gaze playful. “The rich and famous probably have their own cyber mannequins on my Earth. I kind of ignored all that. On purpose.” Zeke studied his wife’s expression. “Why?” Her eyes flickered, sadness in their depths. “The truth, it was too depressing. Seeing all that wealth when so many of us were poor.”

Moi’s comment mew-sings ~
Lindsay, everyone has beautifully expressed what's true about your heroines and your skillful brilliant writing.
One reason I find your heroines so appealing is because they represent their times in the sense that they overcome and live, not merely exist. And they are tough, physically and mentally, or they learn to be.
Thanks for sharing Ahhotpe. She's a wonderful anti-heroine! And she's so Egyptian. You must have lived during that time.
As women why shouldn't we write what we know... ourselves.
I have to agree with Linda. It's really tiresome when the focus of a story or a movie is solely on the man or men... which occurs all too often, imho.
Oh, big deal, who cares about fiction that constantly makes the male sex the center of the universe. Why isn't woman and man, as portrayed together, the center of their universe?
