Robin Egg Blue

Once upon a time, my Beautiful Big Cats, the sky as the Kougar knew it, was a robin egg blue in color, especially during the summer months.
No more.
More often than not, the sky, no matter what shade of blue, looks as if it’s been sprayed by coal dust, a thin layer of filth from the horizon to the bowl of the sky overhead.
So, it was today, when moi made a trip into town. It was gorgeous day, actually. And, the sky should have been a clear bright blue. It wasn’t.
Sadly, what the Kougaress observed also, in town. Or the local hardware store. People are afraid, very afraid. Fear of the future is gradually replacing the ‘howdy, neighbor’ attitude. It’s as though, you’re here to steal, not to buy. Understandable in the current economy, certainly. And, people know it will only get worse as more of their neighbors lose their jobs.
Because, despite what the latest media hype is, people know deep down something is wrong ~ that the world and their lives aren’t working as they should be, that their futures and the futures of their loved ones, is in danger.
The Kougar wishes with all her heart and soul, she could click her claws, wave a magic wand, change things for us all... if only...
Like the tiniest angel feather, a teensy down feather from a birdie rested on one of the top leaves of moi’s tomato plants, easily seen, even with its fairy-like size.
A loving sign? The Kougaress would like to believe so...

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....

Part 219 ~

Sylva smiled, continuing her steps. What was in the water here? Or, what wasn’t in the water? She considered asking Zeke, yet knew now was not the time. Not when he was dealing with the whole dangerous Ranson situation. It was definitely low on the priority list. Her cowboy husband turned to her, a slight grin on his handsome face. “Has something changed?” Sylva moved before him. “You’re about to meet my sister, Marina, and her husband, Grant. They’re going to meet us at the diner before Ranson is due to show up.” Opening his arm, he shifted to embrace her.

Zeke hugged her loosely as his Sylva leaned against him. “Tell you what, why don’t we dress, then I’ll show you some more of the town until it’s time to head over to the diner?” He felt her little nod against his chest. “I have no idea what to ‘dress’ in,” she murmured. “That’s never a problem, darlin’. You got me as your personal fashion advisor.” Zeke covered her hand as she daintily stroked his chest. “Yeah, if I want my breasts to be on permanent display.” Rumbling a chuckle, he offered, “How about a fashionable outfit similar to Marina’s?”

Weekly Angelic Forecast from Volcano

Straight from the Carnal Cherub himself...

Angelic Forecast ~ #48

The following week is a time of unraveling. That is, those things that no longer work in your life will unravel, whether just the beginning threads, or the very last thread to be undone. If you can see or know that is what is occurring, those situations will be easier to let go of, and to be seen for what they are.
So goes the world stage. More unraveling will occur and the process will speed up. This will allow for the truth to be revealed, so that more and more of us are aware and take action.

Zeke seems to have an endless supply of clothes for Sylva. It's only fair that since Sylva dropped through time to end up in his lap, he provides her a new wardrobel.

A magic wand, a twitch of my nose or a nod of my head, heck even a really good spell(rhyming, of course)! I would love to be able to set right all the wrongs in the world... know that's probably, in part, why we write, we have the power to heal anything we want in a story! :)

Gem ~ Zeke had part of a wardrobe ready for his new wife, since he knew he was going to claim a bride.
However, she needs a complete wardrobe... oh, the joys of writing.

Serena ~ spot on as the English say. I know it's one reason I write. To heal... and I can always write a twitch my nose story... which I'm thinking of writing.
That would be kind of a cute anthololgy, actually. Witchy stories, Bewitched meets Charmed... not a bad title, either.

Sweet!! Bewitched meet Charmed would be a great read! I always loved those witchy shows!
