Flashing with Pop-Ice & Moon the Balloon

It seems, my fancy dancy felines, the residents of Port Huron on the Canadian side of the border were PO-ed over a spy camera test done via blimp or balloon by the US military over their city. So, in an act of defiant creativity, they dropped their pants, their shorts or lifted their skirts *mooning” the balloon. Yay and yowl for those brave people! May we all so brightly demonstrate our refusal to cooperate with Big Brother.

The incomparable Mima was the hostess for Flash Fiction Sunday at the Liquid Silver SEx blog. Pop-Ice was the theme, a frozen summer treat this Big Kitty has never tasted.

Still, here’s moi’s flashie ~

“What are these?” The Third Princess of Wyquariuss held up the bag that imitated a frozen rainbow.
“Pop-Ice, Princess...”
“I can read ‘any’ language.” The Princess razored her voice over him.
“It’s a gift from my recent assignment on Earth, Princess. I thought to entertain your interest in the trifling whimsical preoccupations of heathen populations.”
“Then, it’s a sex toy. How is it used? Did you bring one of those two-dimensional instructional films they utilize?”
“Oh no, Princess. I believe those instructions are banned. However...” Commander Zrokulv allowed himself a quick smirk, “I can perform a demonstration for your pleasure.”

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....

Part 232 ~

Sylva couldn’t help gawking at the ultra-feminine dresses that reminded her of thirties/forties summer frocks. “Earthquakes? I know there was a major Earthquake on the New Madris fault in the early 1800s, actually a series of quakes. They were so powerful the Mississippi river ran backwards... those are beautiful, especially the pink one. All of them are lovely, though.” Zeke caressed her shoulder, then claimed her neck in such a sexy way Sylva swooned and leaned against him. “1811, that happened here. No, these quakes occurred half a century later. They were considered to be bad medicine by the shamans.”

Zeke protectively slid his arm around his wife, keeping his gaze trained on the reflection of a man who was dressed all in black. From a distance there was some resemblance between him and Ranson. “Bad medicine?” Sylva repeated. “I can understand why people would consider earthquakes a reason to move away. Find another home.” She whirled toward him. “What is it?” Zeke watched the man stride toward the bawdiest saloon and enter. It wasn’t Ranson. Heaving a relieved breath, he focused on his bride. “As it turns out, nothing to worry about. You said pink, darlin’?” He cupped her face.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER blog ~
Sunday ~ Linday blogs ~ KITCHENS ~
Moi’s Mew-sings ~
Linda, what Lindsay said.
How silly to think Kitchens can't be romantic places. If a couple is preparing food together that can be utterly romantic and a wonderful way to learn about each other.
I've used the kitchen in one of my books and just used it in a scene. The heroine doesn't know much about the hero, but because of circumstance they're together at his ranch. How people relate to each other over food and caring for each other is often key to the development of their love for each other.
Saturday ~ Lindsay blogs ~ The Bath-House ~ time travel back to ye olde bathhouses.

The ROOM theme is on HEA and is anything about rooms - your own inner space and psyche, the rooms you inhabit in your imagination, a room that holds a pivotal place in one of your novels, the room where you write, a room where something romantic happened to you or yours or one of your characters. Your own favourite room. Whatever you fancy. It could be a perfect room that you devise and share with us.
Whatever you fancy!
Cheers, Lindsay
