Turmoil Dread

Adrian Paul ~ The Highlander... an immortal for our times...

Rainy day meows, my Springtime take-cover Kittens... ohgosh, did it rain last night... lots of lightning, too... this afternoon the Kougaress trekked down to her mailbox when the sun was out, although it was partly cloudy... on the way she cut back some of the overgrown foliage along her gravel drive... well, just as she got her mail out, it began sprinkling, and this Big Cat walked back in the rain... a steady rain, but fortunately not a downpour... a couple of hours later, she discovered a tornado had hit Sedalia, a small city about forty-five minutes away... wow, a sort of close call... although, the Kougaress saw no evidence of any tornadic activity on the tame prairie.

Continued blessings to ALL those who are affected by the tornadoes and severe storms. Be careful, my darling Big Cats. The Kougaress loves ya!

Turmoil Dread ... the Kougaress began lucid dreaming this phrase, and it stayed with her as she awoke... it certainly seems apt for these challenging and horrific times... given all the turmoil, and then, of course, dreading the continued turmoil of severe, off the charts weather, the coming land changes, the social upheaval, the economic injustice... how this phrase fits into any of this Big Cat’s WIPs, though... well, that’s the mystery... as she dreamed, the phrase was part of an ongoing story, one the Kougaress doesn’t remember now.

Big Cat by-the-numbers ~

2:22 am... 3:33 am... 2:12 pm... 3:33 pm... peaceful rebellion is in the air... the line is in the sand...

Authoress news and mews ~

The Kougar subbed a flash fiction story today to Daily Science Fiction. She’s never worked with them, and doesn’t know much about them, either. It’s a new venture. But, who knows if her flash is what they’re looking for? ~meow shrugs~

Baiting The Trap For Love
by Rebecca Gillan

Dorri tensed her haunches at the faint squeak of the cat door being forced open. It hadn’t taken her long to figure out that was how the delectable little balls of blue fluff were getting in. Lexor had had the cat door installed right after he’d bought the coffee shop and outfitted it with a little hydraulic motor that was radio controlled. He wore a collar outfitted with an embedded radio tag while in cat form that would trigger the door to open. This kept the premises relatively secure while eliminating the need to stash a spare key somewhere. Life as a shifter invariably meant returning home in the fur from time to time.

SEARCH TERM: Financial terrorism TSA

~ ~

Can you believe it? The idiot-corrupt feds are threatening to blockade the state of Texas by disallowing plane flights, all because the Texas representatives dared to bring forth a bill denying the TSA perverts any right to perform a rape-down.

Oh, this Big Cat wishes all the states would pass such a bill. Gee, the airline companies won’t be too happy, will they, if there’s no business? Of course, there would be a lot of pain for those who rely on traveling by plane. But, heck, maybe the airlines will wise and up and kick the TSA out, as they have every legal right to do.

Then again, the false-flag boys will likely seek every manner of retribution. Yep, it will be the ole gun to the head strategy. Blow up a few planes. Blame it on the terrorists, domestic or foreign. Let the military pilots use the commercial planes for target practice. Yeah, that’ll make Americans compliant. We are the TSA. We rule. Lick our boots.

Of course, folks and states could get smart and start their own airlines, and make agreements with each other as to airspace usage. It would be tough, but workable. And, gosh, the whole idea of human dignity might return. Ya think?

The most powerful weapon is the human soul on fire. ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

And, May you live the dreams of your heart, not in interesting times...

Thanks. I have no idea about the flash, but, hey, I thought I'd give it a go.
