Looking for a Renegade

Renegade (TV Series 1992–1997) - IMDb
Created by Stephen J. Cannell. Directed by Fred L. Miller. With Lorenzo Lamas, Branscombe Richmond, Kathleen Kinmont, Stephen J. Cannell.

Late night purrs, my Springtime wild Felines... close to ninety degrees today on the tame prairie, and the storms may be moving in... busy, busy, and not enough done per usual... this Big Cat wonders if there will ever be a lifestyle where ‘business’ doesn’t overwhelm just living life? Yeah, the Kougaress thinks we’ve lost our way as a culture... not surprising since that’s been the plan all along by the ‘1984' global controllers... not to mention humanity’s proclivity to bring itself down... however, that is changing, and will change dramatically... it’s the rise of the soul... it’s the rise the creative, and the artist... it’s the rise of the true renegade.

Looking for a Renegade... the Kougaress enjoyed this TV series... what’s not to love about Lorenzo Lamas on a macho-roaring motorcycle... a man, a renegade, who believed in right, in justice, in the code of the Old West... yep, right and justice have always been dear to this Big Cat’s heart since she was a wee one ~ the Lone Ranger, Zorro, Roy Rogers, Bonanza, and so many more ~ in a way, this show was a modern take on the Lone Ranger... sans the mask, of course... with a bare chest instead. In these times, we should all be looking for the Renegades. We should be joining with them. We should go renegade. It’s time.

On a personal note: The Kougaress sure wouldn’t mind if her renegade showed up. She’s looking. At least, in her fantasies.

Mississippi Delta braces for historic flood
AP – 7 mins ago

TUNICA, Miss. – The bulging Mississippi River rolled into the fertile Mississippi Delta on Tuesday, threatening to swamp antebellum mansions, wash away shotgun shacks, and destroy fields of cotton, rice and corn in a flood of historic proportions.

Feathered Wings of Fire
by Savanna Kougar

Scrambling quickly up the small pile of red desert boulders, she shielded her eyes from the midday sun with one hand. Fascinated, she peered at the immense dark shape in the sky, unable to tell if it was a small plane or a humongous bird. Staring for all she was worth at the odd-looking shape, whatever it was, maybe even some kind of UFO, her breath hitched when it banked suddenly, then powerfully glided over the parched landscape. Wings, definitely giant feathered wings. Her breath jerked again and her heart drummed with wild elation. Probably just an enormous buzzard, though.

Never Coming Home, my second AT [American Title] entry will be published in 2012 by an independent romance publisher here in the UK, called Choc Lit ~ choclitpublishing.co.uk ~ They are fairly new and quite dynamic and I am really excited. I will be their first romantic thriller.

The idea machine
by Vivien Jackson

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could write like a Mad Lib: insert character names, a general conflict, and some strong verbs, and then presto, out pops the story? I covet such a machine to do all the hard thinking for me, but instead I’m left with this silly life and even sillier brain, and then folks have the comic genius to ask how I get ideas for stories. Well…

BEWARE!!! If you live in the Gulf area DO NOT let your children go swimming anywhere. The swimming pools have been compromised by chemicals and oil, and children are getting sick. No NOTHING has changed in the Gulf of Mexico, except folks are sicker than ever, and they are dying from the chemicals and the oil they are constantly exposed to. Also, the gov is threatening doctors who want to use natural methods to help them. They are being sent letters and told to stop, or else. This pollution is also happening in areas of the country where the rain has carried the Corexit and oil. This summer it’s probably NOT SMART to let your kids go swimming anywhere because the RADIATION levels remain high, and wherever it rains there could be high levels of radiation. This has been demonstrated with people who own geiger counters, and other sensing equipment. Fukishima, or Nukishima, is blowing like a smokestack, and is constantly spewing out more radiation.

The most powerful weapon is the human soul on fire. ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
