Independence, the sweetest nectar... so it is for the Kougar... oh, my Beautiful Big Cats, may you know the headiness of real freedom so fiercely, you are forever transformed. Life and love flows toward liberty. Everything that is truly good and sacred flows from liberty.
Where there is little or no freedom, love rarely thrives. The heart needs its freedom to choose love and receive love. We, as precious beings, need freedom to live a life filled with love.
Proclaim liberty through out the land ...

Lavender Butterfly Encounter ~

Yep-meow, just now. The Kougar was out by her illicit tomatoes plants, which don’t actually exist... On several occasions in the past summers, this big cat has seen her tiny lavender butterflies, gorgeous ethereal swarms of them, at times.
This time there were two of the lovely critters floating and flitting. Marveling at their beautiful fragility moi talked lovingly to them. One of them landed on the top leaf of the Kougar’s non-existent pepper plant and folded its delicate wings. Of course, the Kougaress continued talking appreciatively to lavender butterfly while bending over for a close look.
My goodness, the wing looked like a lavender lacy fan. Tiny butterfly stayed for long moments until moi decided she’d better go back inside. She sent an air kiss. Then lavender butterfly lifted off, flitting away gracefully.

She averted her face, her color high. “Maybe, I’ll pretend none of this is real. That it is all a dream.”
“Dang it, Sparks, I won’t be a pretend husband to you.”
“If it was only you, it might work.” Her soft reluctant words made it to his ear.
Drawing his Kylie closer, Dillon loosened the reins, letting Diamond surge into a floating trot. Instinctively, his wife’s hands caught his shoulders as she swayed forward. Avoiding his searching gaze, she looked down, and Dillon longed to cradle her, comfort her. But, it was better not to stop.

Part 188 ~

Sylva frowned mildly at her cowboy. “Yeah, tell me another one.” Picking up a slice of what looked like papaya, she nibbled. “Mmmm... good. How did it all end? I assume people kept supplying both of you with elixir water.” Leaning forward, Zeke plucked up a slice of melon, offering it to her. His gaze glittered with passion and Sylva was unable to resist. Gradually, she nibbled the yummy fruit to his fingertips, then let him push the rest of the melon between her lips. Selecting a slice, he ate it in two big bites. “Elixir water and nutrient sticks.”

Zeke lingered his gaze on his Sylva’s mouth, glistening from the melon’s juices. Cracking a grin, he continued. “On the second day the sun baked us. We were like two grunting primitives who didn’t own a brain cell between us. By the time it ended, we were caked with mud, drying mud, to the point our movements were hampered by how dang stiff our clothes were. Pieces flew off us whenever we went at it. We’d crash down into the monstrous mud hole we’d made brawling. Stubborn as mules, we’d crawl toward each other and be covered in mud again.”
