No, not that kind of cucumber, for those Big Cats with naughty imaginings.
Do imagine, if you will, my darling KitKats, the Kougar is diligently watering her non-existent and tiny garden. The cucumber plant is growing great guns so moi placed one of her many empty water 2.5 gallon containers beneath the vine to keep it off the ground. As she was feeling beneath the leaves to lift the plant a smooth long shape met her fingertips.
There it was! Hidden! A six incher, at least, lovely and unmarred... her first cucumber. Yes, moi lovingly washed it off, then tasted a thin slice. Yum! The best-tasting cucumber she’s had in ages!
Gee, maybe, there will be more since there are tiny ones forming along with gorgeous yellow flowers.

Dono continued searching his mind for what he’d daydreamed, pretending he had a wife. “I want a kiss in the morning before I leave the house. I want a woman who listens to my dreams for the ranch. I want to listen to her dreams for the future.” He smiled at his own sentimentality. “I want to watch my wife wearin’ my shirts as she moves around the house.”
Mist that belonged to a cool summer morning had crept into her aquamarine eyes. Wandering around in them Dono made a rookie mistake. “What are your dreams, Kylie?”
Pain he’d only witnessed in those who were severely injured enlarged her pupils, dark holes he could fall into and disappear. For unbearable moments she became catatonic. Snatching up the jar of honey, he dipped his finger in and shoved it between her lips. Responding automatically, her tongue swiped at the honey.

Part 194 ~
Sylva listened to her cowboy’s hearty laughter. He’d thrown his head back, guffawing at the idea of him and Ranson in a re-match, duking it out in her shallow little mud puddle. Sylva realized it was comic relief and because the thought of it was funny. She’d laughed for awhile, tickled by her own idea. Still, the reality of her bizarre, yet fantastical circumstance had come home to roost quickly. What was a girl to do? Or, in her case, what was a married woman to do? Actually, a warm soothing bath sounded like a good solution for the moment.
Zeke swung his wife’s hand in a carefree manner, then stood watching her rise with him. “Come on, my Sylva. That is, if you’re ready for a bath.” She nodded, giving him an uncertain smile. “Darlin’, I’ll take care of things with Ranson. Maybe by this time his life is what he wants. Before he left the university, we talked about our differences. He left without a grudge. Said he’d cheated just outta drunken foolishness.” Moving before his bride, Zeke caressed the side of her face. He lowered his head kissing her with only part of the demand he felt.
