Whoopee... Murder will be In Print...

Whirling at a dizzying speed, that’s the Kougar’s head... her eyes are sloshing back and forth, it’s been such a busy fast-forward kind of day, my Big Beautiful Cats... all writerly biz stuff and promo.
And, as of today,
HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES, was still holding at #3... stomach-clench time, no matter what happens next, up or down.
~~~
Roaring-Whoopee, the Kougar found out today
MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS will be coming out in print. When? No clue. Actually, moi needs to revise her blurb. It doesn’t work for most readers. Sooooo.... that’s a quick project she needs to get done soon.
This was on one of the chat loops, Happy Kittens ~ it sounded too good to pass up... really, moi should take up sipping on drinkies...
Created by mixologist and author Natalie Bovis-Nelsen (aka The Liquid Muse), the Garden Bouquet is a seasonal and relatively low-cal cocktail that's easy to whip up at home. Fragrant and fresh-tasting, the recipe combines white wine, lavender tea, rosemary, lemon and vodka, resulting in a light drink that feels like spring in a glass.
Garden Bouquet
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce lavender rosemary syrup*
1/2 ounce sauvignon blanc
1 1/2 ounce vodka
1 rosemary sprig (for garnish)
Shake lemon juice, lavender rosemary syrup, sauvignon blanc and vodka with ice. Strain into a wine glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a slice of lemon and rosemary sprig.
*Lavender rosemary syrup: Brew 1/2 cup lavender tea. Pour tea, along with 1 cup sugar and 6 rosemary leaves, into a small saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil, then let simmer 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Store extra in refrigerator for future cocktails.
Happy Courtship on another Earth
X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....
Part 132 ~
Sylva surged with several sensations, a soft wonder at how her cowboy took care of her... the sexy sizzle tinglies deep in her belly at the way he handled her gown skirt in the back, shaking it out with practiced finesse... and a sweet enjoyment at being a woman she’d never known. It was if she were truly cherished. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed and shy of him, she slowly twirled around, facing him. “Thank you, handsome,” she managed, her cheeks burning. Why she felt awkward Sylva couldn’t determine. Maybe she waited for the other proverbial shoe to drop, or a boot.
Zeke presented his arm and wondered at the high color of his bride. “My pleasure,” he answered. “There are water elixirs and wine available inside the lounge,” he continued, realizing she wouldn’t know that. “Choose whatever pleases you, darlin’. Then I’ll order whatever else you desire.” Zeke led her to the back exit of their booth. “Interesting,” she murmured, cuddling his arm closer as they stepped outside into the corridor. “Do I simply tell them your name, cowboy? Water does sound good.” Zeke tenderly rubbed the top her little hand. “You’ll be known, my Sylva, since you are my wife.”
Meow! ~jumping happily at the print copies of Murder by Hair Spray!!~
How exciting! Congrats, Savanna! I can't wait to buy a copy for my bookshelf... :-)
Jumping with you... thanks, Serena. I know I'll be stocking up on a few.
Did you know Alanna made print copies of her book with LSB? at Lulu. Apparently, they only own the electronic rights. I do remember her talking about it with Mike on the forum.
Really? I wonder how she did with it? I checked out the website and it looks pretty easy to do...something to keep in mind. :-)
Alanna, Gem, Trina and I had a chat about promo the other day in Gem's chat room.
Alanna said she did it mainly for her relatives who only read print books. And it is on Amazon. However, she hasn't sold that many.
There is a yellow forum thread where Alanna discusses it with Mike.
