Monday Malaise...

Yep, dear Big Kitties, it’s here. And nope, the Kougar isn’t going to make the deadline she was shooting for with her current WIP. Sooooo....yowl... what’s next? Oops, not figured out yet...
Still the long sex/love scene she has been penning continues...

X-snippet ~ from Stallion of Ash and Flame ~

“I’ll make it fit,” he rasped, barely recognizing his own voice. “Like it did before.” He seized her upper thighs, deliberately sinking his fingertips into her voluptuous flesh.
“It did fit,” she sang back, a sassy tune. Swaying her hips like a belly dancer, she wiggled his shaft.
“Oh, god, Seneca.” His pleasure swamped him, or he would have lunged for her core. Instead he remained in a scorching pool of lust while she slowly fucked down his cock, forcing her sheath to take more and more of him inside.

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 65 ~

Sylva stilled inside, not the Zen kind, but the kind with dread attached. “What’s wrong?” she asked. He set his two knives down. He’d been using them expertly to finish off his steak, rather like a Sushi chef. Clearly, he thought about how to answer her. “What does your Chicago look like now?” he gently rasped. Sylva puffed out an impatient breath, but decided to go along. “It’s a major metropolitan city. Tall impressive buildings. Financial and art centers. Lots of people packed in together. Multicultural society. People losing their jobs... never mind.” Sylva shuddered, and hoped he didn’t notice.

Zeke wondered at her ambivalence. Her city of Chicago didn’t hold much appeal from his vantage point. “Multicultural?” he asked. She gave him a weak little smile. “Many ethnic backgrounds. Different races of people living together. Most of that was good about Chicago.” Her slumped shoulders made him frown with concern. “We have multicultural fairs all over the world. Seven times a year. And local celebrations from different traditions.” Her eyes brightened. “Your Chicago?” she asked. Zeke expelled a giant breath. “The original city burned to the ground in 1920. It had become the military encampment for the treasonous bankers.”

Meow-wow, check out Linda Blanche’s blogging about just how sexy mens’ clothing was during the Regency. Friday, Bekki Lynn, author of PSYCHIC HITCH and LAST GLASS OF WINE, talked about her experiences as a new author. It’s a steep learning curve, let me tell ya, Big Cats.

Volcano’s Angelic Forecast

Angelic Forecast ~ XXVI

“I feel a sweeping malaise... so many seem sapped of energy,” I say, then grin as the Heavenly One creates a rainbow bench for us to sit on, before the newly blooming daffodils.
“Yes, some are feeling this malaise... born of unnatural energies,” he answers. I watch him wave his arm in an expansive invitation. Quickly tiny lights appear, flitting in all directions. Soon I glimpse the swift beating of ephemeral wings. “Daffodil fairies,” he explains. “They are busy this time of year.”
“I would imagine,” I respond, bewitched by their erratic ethereal flights. They zoom and hover, then zoom again. “I’m not seeing them fully, am I?”

I took your advice and emailed Tracey to ask about the amount of fire expected in a fireman's story. She said, submit, if it was wrong they'd consider it for something else.

Glad they gave everyone an extension.
