Naw, Big Sassy Cats, the Kougar is just funnin’ ya. The Earthworms have not deserted good ole’ Mother Earth, yet, for a chance at lunar life and their own all-you-can-eat, dust-dining world.But, what if? Given Monsanto’s highly unfriendly attitude toward all things natural and good in the plant and insect kingdoms, the Earthworms could decide to leave Earth. A definite tragedy for those of us who actually like the foods grown in actual gardens.
And, if you’re a small gardener, you too could have Gov Feds descending on your home, demanding the right to inspect your garden and how you canned your corn and tomatoes, courtesy of a new bill introduced by the wife of a man who works for the all-powerful Monsanto.

Or simply consider, why is there a huge honeybee die off?
And why are community gardens in Los Angeles being bulldozed? Why is Tulsa demanding residents have to have a permit, so their home gardens can be inspected. Omygosh, someone might be growing marijuana, so we have the right to come onto your property, and into your house anytime we want...
Actually, this Big Cat hadn’t even considered ranting about this particular topic. The words wormed their way out... because moi is feeling drained as all get out.

Worm Moon Over the Sierras
10 March, 2009-- I traveled to my favorite location at the 7,500 foot level of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and just after sunset, the full "Worm Moon" started rising above the snow covered Sierras. The Worm Moon got its name from the time of year that earthworms start stirring in the thawing soil of the northern hemisphere's coming spring.

Part 81 ~
Sylva sniffed the contents of various lovely-shaped jars, then gingerly tested the creams on her wrist. Deciding on one she smoothed it over her body. The fragrance was delicious, a fruity floral combination that made her feel extravagant. Guessing the other door at the end of fancy bathroom led to the dressing room, she grasped the handle, and took a peek. Yep. She moved inward, deciding to check the drawers of the vanity for the cosmetics her cowboy had mentioned. Seating herself, she opened the right hand drawer. Pearl combs and several dainty brushes of different sizes awaited her styling pleasure.
Zeke followed the panning-camera view of the ornate ballroom, located on the second floor of the Emerald Shamrock. Couples whirled in each other’s arms amid the green velvet and satin finery, dancing beneath impressive candle chandeliers. “What do you reckon?” Roy asked. “Too crowded? I have a private booth available.” Zeke figured with a private booth, his Sylva would be just fine. And she seemed eager to dance. “Looks fine as smooth-swillin’ bourbon. Shouldn’t be too long before we’re along.” Roy smiled grandly. “Now that you’re hitched, you son of a renegade gun, are we still on for fishin’ trout?”
