Sylva resisted. Damn, if he wasn’t pure male aphrodisiac to her. “You didn’t answer my question.” Turning away from him, she took another sip of the very lovely wine. Drunk on him, or just plain drunk? Did it ultimately matter? Especially since he was an irresistible son of a gun, and bound and determined to have her again. Her real dilemma, how did she put up a good fight against him and her own female bonding hormone? Even now, her body wanted to leap against him as if he were super-charged magnet. “There are two reasons for the protective curtain.”

Zeke rejoiced as she pivoted, facing him. Not that he didn’t stud hanker over her gorgeous moon-round ass. Still, hell, there was something utterly enchanting about her face. “What two reasons?” she asked, curiosity in her voice. “Constant exposure to the frequency waves is none too healthy. But not to worry, darlin’. There’s a monitor. If you were affected I would know.” She frowned. “What happens if I am?” He smiled reassuringly. “I got the remedy right here.” She flipped a wary glance at him, took another dainty swallow, then asked, “What’s the other reason?” He closed the distance between them.
