And moi sent in another contract today... however, for now, she’s keeping the details under her cowgirl hat. Yippee kiyay...And, a purring huge thank you to everyone who entered The Romance Studio’s giveaway for WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS. The Kougar’s mommy will be picking the winner.

Sylva soaked in his words, despite her unruly hormones. “Oh, interesting,” she answered. “But does justice prevail? Really?” Good heavens, did she ever want him to let go of her hands? It wasn’t merely his sex appeal. For once, she actually felt safe, like he really wanted to protect her. Unlike men who only acted the part, then expected to be rewarded. “Justice is considered sacred here. If anyone accuses falsely, they are shunned for a time.” He grinned and her heart flip-flopped. “I’m hungrier than a bull after breeding season. Care to dine, my Sylva?” She could only nod.
Zeke led her to the round ornate table for two, and seated his bride. “I am hungry,” she softly admitted, once he placed the basket on the sideboard. Unwrapping the wicker basket of freshly made biscuits, he set it in the middle, then the two covered cast iron skillets holding their dinners. “Smells delicious.” She leaned forward, inhaling, and closing her eyes briefly. Whipping out linen napkins, he placed one on her lap, then the bundled utensils. “Wow,” she murmured, “these don’t look like what we use to eat with. Real silver?” She picked up, the specialty knives and fork.
