Wild and Wicked Cowboys... oh hell yeah!

Dang, and oh hell yeah... this Big Cat would want him waiting for her...

Late night meows and wahoooos! My purty and prowling Pussycats... another serene day on the tame prairie, with a bit of rain in the morning... more rain would be good about now.
~~~
There’s a mystery that has ALWAYS confounded this Big Cat ever since she was a cub-child... what was the big thing about vilifying chocolate, lo all these many years? This Big Cat never understood why chocolate was supposed to be so bad for you, and the near hysteria of some people that kept saying ‘don’t eat it’. Hey, for the past fifteen years, at least, research has proven the health benefits of the cacao bean, the bean that is used to create chocolate... and yet, there’s still all this craziness from the ‘well-meaning’ crowd that, oh, chocolate really isn’t that good for you, or some other food is better.
REALLY?
Having evolved into a conspiracy theorist, given the tons o’ lies told by the gov and the big corporations... well, what if, the health benefits were known way back when... back when the Hershey company began, and through World War II when the GIs had chocolate bars in their kits... so, what if? Yeah, enter the bad guys who want to sell chocolate, but! Hey, it can’t be too healthy, because ‘we’ don’t want really healthy folks because unhealthy folks are far easier to control, so lets add some white sugar, now mercury-filled corn syrup, instead of a healthy sweetener like whole cane sugar, which is also excellent for your health. Bottom line, the health goodness of chocolate has been compromised and adulterated.
Solution, get organic chocolate made with healthy ingredients. Or purchase raw cacao powder and make your own... pretty darn easy. And, there are lots of great recipes which taste far better than a Hershey bar, or Hershey Chocolate syrup. Btw, your heart, your circulatory system, and your brain will thank you.
Wild and Wicked Cowboys... oh hell yeah!
Wow, did this Big Cat super-yippee enjoy Sherry James’ blog today. And mygosh, talk riding down memory lane. Here’s the beginning...
The Smartest Horse in the Movies!
Posted on August 30, 2011 by sherryjames
This past weekend at the Nebraska State Fair I had the opportunity to see one of my horse heroes! I have several, Secretariat, Affirmed, Alydar, my sweet old horse Silver Gent, and yes, Trigger. I finally got to see Roy Rogers’ trusted steed and “The Smartest Horse in the Movies!” Needless to say, and to my kid’s lament, I whipped out my camera and started snapping shot after shot! No way was I leaving the building without taking a few pix.
And, howl about the *Trigger, Roy Rogers* synchronicity, the Kougar is blogging on Wednesday, August 31, at the Wild and Wicked Cowboys blog ~ wildandwickedcowboys.wordpress.com ~ Here’s the opening...
Ya Never Get Over Your First Cowboy Crush
Hi all, thanks to Randi for having me today. I thought I’d start at the beginning.... so, no near nekkid cowboy eye candy... my apologies.
My first official cowboy...okay, the TV version...was Gene Autry. Yep, I’m a baby boomer, and I was a little gal then. Really it was his horse, Champion, I ran to see at five o’ clock every Saturday morning.
Horses were my first love. Cowboys came second. But, boy, did I fall hard when I did fall. My first cowboy crush, after sighing repeatedly over the golden and gallant Trigger, was Roy Rogers.
The Big Dog’s Movin’ In
by Savanna Kougar
Not bothering with headlights once dusk melted into night, Daebo relied on his superior eyesight, maneuvering over the backwoods road at a good clip in his trusty all-terrain truck, one he’d hand built.
Yeah, and it was a new moon night. Darkness fell like a big ole blanket. So, some of his so-called skills were downright handy. Especially, since he’d needed to get out of town fast.
Hell’s own, he hadn’t even hung around long enough to find out which of the alphabet soup agencies wanted a piece of his large honkin’ ass... or wanted his blood... damn their souls, if they even possessed one... hell, his hair would do. They always pilfered his brushes and combs, and scooped out his shower drain.
Or, it might have been one of the top criminal organizations he’d pissed off over the years. Like the Yakuza.
“Now, we’re howlin’.” Daebo cranked up the sound on his old analogue radio. “Shout out bark to Hank, the big dog Williams, Jr... and Daddy Hank.”
I came in last night and I don't know when.
That woman of mine she wouldn't let me in.
I said Move it on over. Move it on over.
Move over little dog 'cause the big dog's movin' in.
Daebo rumbled along with the tune, adding, “Synchronicity is out to get me, and lickin’ at my tail-waggin’ butt.”
Bananas are dying. They're killed by a fungus, one known to be caused by glyphosate, which is used on bananas. But the loss of bananas may be only the tip of the disaster.
