O lordy yowls, the Kougar’s short stories keep expanding on her... now what? This Big Cat is beginning to believe it’s just a sneaky plan by her heroines and heroes to reel her in like a hapless trout so they can get their stories told -- “Here’s a short story idea for you,” they tempt... they whisper and entice. Okay, it’s not the first time this ruse has been pulled.

Question: Do authors teach their heroines and heroes how to treat them by ‘going along’ and writing their stories despite this deception?

Also, if the Kougar is going to dip a claw into the Indie market, she needs a cover artist... so, she found out via an i-search that her amazing cover artist, Amanda Kelsey, is on staff with Eternal Press ~ eternalpress.biz/people.php?artist=217 ~ as well as doing freelance cover art. Just interesting info.

Rex jumped and turned, looking for the source of voice. He blushed when he realized it was coming from a convertible parked a few spots down from him at the scenic turn off he’d been told to wait at. And it was coming from a guy who was admiring his bike. Or his backside. Either option was enough to make him want to crawl under a rock and hide tail.

This was silly. For days, he had been following the directions of the sex voiced lady who kept calling him on his private cell phone. He’d skipped out of Texas Hold’em Poker Night and went for a run, as per her orders.

ContributorNetwork - In addition to the heat-related deaths, destruction of farmland, and shortages of water, many states suffering under the weight of a suffocating heat wave are at an increased risk of wildfires as well. Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Utah have all battled various wildfire outbreaks already, and wind conditions in Oklahoma in particular are promising to keep things in a state of high alert. The National Weather Service, among other organizations, issued a wildfire warning for much of Oklahoma on Monday.

BIG CATTY NASTY YOWLS ~

“Matt Lauer makes $17 million, topping annual TV news salaries” So, this was a news headline... like that airhead, be a good corp boy, deserves even any salary at all... okay, this Big Cat hasn’t watched him for about five years now... however, she doubts his mental capacity has improved in the least... he was just a pretty enough boy who could repeat the corp talking points well enough to fool some of the people some of the time. He’s certainly NOT from the best and the brightest category... not even close... he’s just a mediocre mind who could top the best of the mediocre with his mediocre talent. Of course, in his defense, Lauer was chosen because THOSE who do the real hiring DON’T the best and the brightest. They never did. They just want it to appear as if ‘they’ do. Not to mention, the current ratings for all four of the so-called mainstream TV channels is basically in the toilet when compared to internet viewership for news and entertainment.
