Superman's Memory Crystals...

After midnight meows, my precious and perfectly lovely Felines... relatively summery cool on the tame prairie, although the humidity is making an unwelcome return... yowls, the increasing craziness of life in these times, no, this Big Cat was not prepared... NO WAY! Be on your tiptoes, my Big Cats, a lot is coming down on our heads. Soon.

Superman's Memory Crystals...

Big Cat Note: If you’re a ‘thinker’, a sci fi reader/writer, whatever the particular genre... comic book to romance novel... well, hell, you already know, logically and intuitively, about the following info. It’s intriguing stuff... but not really news in the sense that it’s some brave new science frontier. Gee whiz, what happened to having any kind of functioning intellect in our society as a whole?

Superman's memory crystals may become reality in computers

Computers may soon be saving their data onto hard drives made of glass following research by British scientists who have developed a way of storing information similar to the "memory crystals" seen in the Superman films.

Full news story at ~ ~

Researchers at Southampton University used lasers to rearrange the atoms in pieces of glass, turning it into new type of computer memory.

They claim the glass memory is far more stable and resilient than current types of hard-drive memory, which have a limited lifespan of a couple of decades and are vulnerable to damage from high temperatures and moisture.

The glass memory can withstand temperatures of up to 1,800 degrees F, is unaffected by water and can last for thousands of years without losing information.

Information can be written, wiped and rewritten into the molecular structure of the glass using a laser, the scientists claim.

Authoress news and mews ~

Lordy, darling Kittens, what a fast and furious day doing authorly stuff... however, with little actual writing ~pout, pout~

Though, of course, there’s the Kougar’s bar fight flash for SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS... fun and intense to pen!

Itching for a good fight...
By Savanna Kougar

Itching for a good fight -- one hellacious brawl where her fists swung fast, crunching drunken mugs, or not drunk, she didn’t really care -- Kirsten shoved through the swinging doors.

The saloon, straight out of a John Wayne Western, was lit with candles. Astonished, Kirsten paused, taking in the mellow amber glow mixed with the fading light before sundown. Deciding the dim interior was damn pleasing, Kirsten sauntered inward, her hips rolling with the blaring honky tonk music.

The sound of her boot heels on the wooden floor went unheard, and only a few glances were thrown in her direction. All of the men ran their gazes up and down her body, slowly, and with a thoroughness that normally would have disconcerted Kirsten.

Not now. Her strength burned through her, and wanted to bust out. Kirsten hoped to do some serious whomping soon. Real soon.

Big Cat by-the-numbers ~

1:11 am... 2:22 am... 4:44 am... 5:55 am... 1:11 pm... 2:12 pm... 2:22 pm... 1:11 am... gee, par for the course... ‘those’ responsible in the ATF for loosing illegal guns on Mexico... yeah, their mass-murdering crimes evidently pay. You too can be promoted for wholesale killing!!!

On the Alex Jones Radio Show at ~

Illegal immigration activist Glenn Spencer talks with Alex about the promotion of three key ATF supervisors responsible for Operation Fast and Furious, the effort by the federal government to arm the banker supported narco terrorist drug cartels in Mexico. The ATF insists it did not allow guns to “walk” into Mexico where they have showed up at crime and murder scenes. Alex also covers the latest news on the establishment political front as Rick Perry attempts to distance himself from his past as Al Gore campaign boss. Alex covers other important news and takes your calls.

Gosh, let’s hope ‘those’ in the establishment don’t ‘explode’ Ron Paul out of existence, since he does stand for real freedom in our beloved country.

LinkRon Paul Exploding ~ ~
Despite their best efforts, Ron Paul continues to explode in popularity, surfacing repeatedly at the top of major polls as his message ...

Yeah, here’s a ‘real’ surprise. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

And, May you live the dreams of your heart, not in interesting times...

Whoa, computer memory made out of glass...that is cool; very cutting edge and SF-like!

Yeah, glass and crystal, especially crystals are natural memory holders, or recorders because they keep the original vibrations they've been exposed to, instead of distorting the frequencies over time.
