Purple Fairy in Talbot’s Peak?

Friday into Saturday purrs, my luscious and ever-lively Kittens... lots of good rain on the tame prairie today... it came in stormy waves, so the Kougaress kept turning her computer on and off... but, is she ever grateful for every drop of rain given the land, the plants, and the wild critters need it...

Lots accomplished in preparation for writing. Research, etc. The Kougar has a whole hit parade of story ideas. The question becomes which one to use where, and for what... and, ultimately what direction to take in this whole small print/epublishing biz.

It Comes Off - Trust Me
by Serena Shay

“You sure this gunk will come off?”

“Yaeh, yeah…trust me, it’ll come off,” Trevor coughed and whispered to tonight’s lucky lady. “Eventually.”

“What was that?”

“Nothing, nothing…stand still, I’m almost done.”

“Why do I have to be covered in this stuff anyway?”

“It’s like I told ya before, Jonesy,” Trevor huffed, frustrated that once again he had to tell his cousin the reason behind the paint. “This town loves weird shit! Remember the website we came across while surfing the net? The G&B Gazette and its weird shit section...

Full Moon in Aquarius!

On August 13, the full Moon rises in Aquarius, placing it directly opposite the Leo Sun. With these two planets playing tug-of-war over the Earth, your goal will be making sure neither wins!

If this sounds like a challenging task, that's because it is. Aquarius and Leo are polar opposites in the zodiac.

The full Moon in cool, detached Aquarius is a rebellious mischief-maker prompting you to shun the status quo, seek equality for all and have a strong desire to help society. The Sun in warm-hearted Leo, meanwhile, strives for status. You'll feel an urge to achieve greatness, and you'll worry more about your closest loved ones than improving the world.

Adding to your conundrum is the fact that each of these are fixed signs, making them stubborn and unwilling to compromise. Does this mean common ground is impossible to find? Absolutely not! On the contrary, the Universe throws these challenges your way specifically so you can learn to find the middle road - even in a sticky situation such as this.

The key is to pay close attention to everything around you, while making sure you don't find yourself pulled in one direction more than the other. Stand your ground and find a way to balance the situation out. The satisfaction of discovering a happy medium will make all your effort worthwhile!

2011's Crazy Weather Means Low Food Production, High Prices
ContributorNetwork-Thu, 11 Aug 2011 14:14:44 PDT

ContributorNetwork - Think you're already paying too much at the grocery store? It doesn't look as though it will get better anytime soon--thanks to a year of crazy weather that has battered the United States. This year has been a roller coaster ride for the weather, and as the growing season for farmers draws toward the end, weather may have something to do with higher prices at the grocery store and low global supplies of grains. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, the United States Department of Agriculture has projected that excessive spring rains and flooding that hampered plantings and high heat during the summer months will result in lower harvests of corn, soybeans and wheat. Lower harvests coupled with higher global demand will ultimately mean higher prices for consumers.
