Late night purrs, my righteous and ravishing Kittens... cold on the tame prairie, but still moderate... earlier this evening the moon hung as the most lovely silvery crescent in the black bowl of a sky... and this morning the eagles swooped above the south pasture... oh, and the resident yard bunny, moi saw him/her dash across the drive... yes, this Big Cat’s front yard is perfect for those cozy bunny hiding places.

The Kougaress is feeling those times are upon us more and more... take care and protect yourself and your loved ones... for those of you who are especially challenged by the economic times, and need a new path... think growing good food anywhere and everywhere you can... also, think making alcohol... in the near future, alcohol will become a prized commodity... that is, alcohol will be wanted as much it was during the roaring twenties’ speakeasy days... PLUS, alcohol has many good medicinal uses, including herbal tinctures... ALSO!!! and maybe most important, alcohol can be a gas... meaning any kind of modern day machinery can be *run* on alcohol. Gas or BIG OIL is NOT NEEDED... no, our beloved country does not need Big Oil to run and run well.

Oops... Big Cat Apology Required ~ yes, on yesterday’s bloggie the Kougaress complained about how an insurance company was treating her mother... well, a partial apology is in order. Because of how the information was laid out in a letter to be signed, it was difficult to understand exactly what the bottom line info was... also, because of previous conversations with said company that were not too helpful at all... this Big Cat came to conclusions that were ‘not’ true... that, and the fact that, really, for the most part, the insurance industry, overall, is a rip-off operation. That being meowed, the problem seems to be resolved in as satisfactory a manner as can be expected in these times.

Especially, given what she’d already experienced and learned during her paranormal adventures with Zeke. “One step at a time,” Nevada uttered somberly. Then, he grinned, and repeated, “Yup, one step at a time.” Standing on tiptoe Ginger bussed his cheek with a big kiss. “I’m partial to being right here at home. Mostly. But a little otherworld traveling would be mighty fascinating.” Sylva smiled. “I’m partial to here, too.”

Zeke never felt so glad to see the ranch’s main buildings come into view. It meant he was almost home. “Home is where the heart is,” he muttered. “What was that?” Van hollered above the Speeder’s hum. “Home!” Zeke returned, then continued, “I have a snake-up-the-spine feeling it’s time to hunker down, and keep making improvements. Improve the ranch’s self-sufficiency. And, time to get even more neighborly.” Van sailed them toward the main landing area. “Been gettin’ the urge to make a cozier nest out of the house. Course, a bride of my own would make it whole lot cozier.”
