Evening maows, my Athena-wise KitKats... snow melty on the tame prairie today, but not enough to disappear the white covering yet... the birdies were out in force, looking for dinner... and the sun was out in some force, even though the sky was not a bright blue... omygoshyowls, what a hellaciously tough day... just way too much to deal with these days for the Kougaress, both in moi’s life and in the world... what is wrong with everyone, allowing peaceful homeless people, who have created a community, to be routed, their possessions stolen, and destroyed...

And with dial-up, updating microsoft security is a trauma all by itself since it takes effing forever [at least, 7 hours]...and means limited access to doing all the internet stuff this Big Cat usually does each day.

Beam Me Up 2012... the Kougar finds this thought particularly intriguing, and representative of many things, or many good possibilities... for example, right now, it sounds like a delicious escape, as in PLEASE! Beam Me Up 2012... whether it is a mass awakening of humanity to their true nature and potential... whether it’s the arrival of our galactic cousins who beam us aboard their crystalline craft... whether, a new magick arrives in 2012 on the magical day of December 21, 2012, a magick that embraces those of us who are ready... hey, yowsa! it could be all the above, or whatever it is this Big Cat is more than ready to be beamed up. Anywhere, at this point. Please, please, please...

Surreality of Snow

Earlier this month I talked about snow stillness on my own blog. With all the snow we’ve been getting some days it is a winter wonderland (well before the mush when everyone has been through it). Since I leave so early for my day job I get that snow stillness when it is fresh and coats the area in a white beauty that is creates a surrealness. Being out that early it feels like I am the only person in the world.

Sylva slipped lower in the bubbly waters that smelled like champagne. Yielding to the soothing whirl, she wondered if it was her imagination since a lovely fizz stroked her body. “Sort of a blackmail arrangement.” Zeke subtly nodded at her words. “Yup, the way of the times. It changed shortly after. That’s not part of the joke, darlin’ wife.” Sylva danced the sole of her foot against the sole of his foot. “No, I bet not. So, what did happen?” Her cowboy slow-danced his foot against hers in a whole new way. Sylva felt herself dissolve into a languid bliss.

Zeke indulged in the pleasure on his Sylva’s face, and continued moving his foot in the same way over hers. “Oh, that feels too good, cowboy.” His woman curled her little toes beneath his toes. “Yep, good,” he growled. Figuring he better tell the joke while he could, Zeke uttered, “Now, ole Joe was sittin’ in Barth’s bar, whettin’ his whistle. He’d just come into town after a long six months of mining his claim. Feeling dang weary he’d settled at the back and was leisurely drinking his ale. Well, this Pinkerton agent moseys on in and straddles a barstool.”
