Halfway Through the Spooktacular Month

Almost midnight meows, my adorable and delightfully rambunctious KitKats... oh, celestial yum, the half moon is lemony silver beautiful... can you believe it... here we are, halfway through the spooktacular month of October... good yowling lord, or should this Big Cat roar ~ BUCK ROGERS BLAST-OFF ~ these days, she is also roaring this message, May the force of freedom be with you, ever since she heard this word-takeoff on MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

2:12 am... 5:55 am ... 12:12 am ... yep, the numbers are still ‘showing themselves’ to moi.

Authoress news and mews ~

Since the Kougar was feeling out-of-it poorly, sort like a cold was coming on, and her brain power wasn’t cooperating... she didn’t get any good penning done... however, she got other author biz done... and is holding on her own, so far. Yes, she is throwing down lots of natural supplements.

Lately, while I've had an overflow of story ideas and snippets, my blogging ideas have gone south. So as I cruised the internet, looking for inspiration, I came across this site and it's filled with Five Friday questions. Paging through the list of questions, there were many that were interesting and funny, but none as unique as the five below...

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 656 ~

Sylva held up the pale lavender skirt made out of a supple thin suede. It would probably hit just below her knees. The matching lace-up-the front top had adorable cap sleeves. Smiling with eagerness, she eased off her garments quickly. Spying the ion unit inside the lounge, she stepped in as she and Zeke had done before, cleansing herself. Certainly that way of cleaning was handy dandy in a pinch. Since she could tighten the suede lacings herself, Sylva dressed herself, then tried on the fringe moccasins, a beautiful buttercream color. Shaking her hair, she then looked for a brush.

Zeke wrapped his mother in a big bear hug. They held onto each other for long moments. When they leaned back, they simply gazed at each other. Zeke always dived into the love that was his mother’s eyes. Tenderly, she touched his cheek, her fingers lingering. “Well, son o’ mine, looks like you went and got yourself one beautiful and very special bride.” Stroking her fingertips from him, she smiled. “I can see you’re already lassoed just like a husband should be. And I’ll be givin’ her tips on how to keep your heart roped tight as a bull calf.”
