Yep, Happy Tears Were Shed...

FIRST! Beloved Big Cats on the East Coast. If you are in the way of Hurricane Earl, take every precaution, of course. Leave, if you need to, and head toward safety. But, please do it *** before *** FEMA becomes involved in any way. Please!
*****************

Purrs, my gamboling and glittery KitKats... some stray showers have moved in and it’s been an eventful day on the tame prairie... mostly in a good way... moi did re-injure her foot from putting too much extra weight on it carrying all the shopping stuff yesterday... so, that’s a downer... but, wahoo... the Kougar received one of those wonderful surprises that we authors are moved to tears over. Yep, more below.
~~~
Can you believe it’s now September? Whizz... whizz... whizz... time has become like a speed demon. No, this Big Cat can’t keep up and it doesn’t matter how many positive meows she mews... it’s the way it is.
~~~
Toadins came for a visit this evening. The Kougaress found her favorite big plump toad at the back door when she went outside. Ms/Mr. Toad has made an appearance a few times this summer, but not as many as last summer. And moi hasn’t seen nearly as many baby toads this year.

Yup, Branded by the Texans is #14 on Siren-BookStrand’s bestseller list, as of about six this evening... Yeeeeehawwww! THAT’S FOUR WEEKS of being in the top 20 and 6 days at #1... this Big Cat author couldn’t be happier!!! Sure as the blue sky... that happiness could be extended... but, ya know, the Kougar is just darn happy. And so very grateful. And, of course! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! To everyone who has purchased Branded. ~lots and lots of rainbow-shimmering good good vibes are embracing you~

Via Googlie Alert, the Kougar found out Branded has been Kindle-ized... not only that, there’s a review...

This review is from: Branded by the Texans [Three Star Republic] (Siren Publishing Menage Amour) (Kindle Edition)
I know everyone usually says that they don't usually write reviews but in my case it's true. I love this book. As a Texas woman it hits to the heart of what a Texas man should be and want in a wife. The males were tough, strong, and dominant but gentle and calm. This went for their land, their animals, or their wife. They were rivers that wore away her resistance. This author was also able to insert into this book the political climate witch is brewing in Texas and put it into the story line to make the whole book seem more realistic. The only drawbacks that I could see was that the Kylie seemed a little too accepting of another "Earth" and the fact that she had been kidnapped, but she stayed true to the pioneering spirit of defending her man no matter what.

NOTE: For those of you who love your Kindle, by all means, if you do want to read Branded and haven’t, then use your Kindle. However, it’s always best for us authors if readers buy from the publisher. Of course, we authors are always GRATEFUL whenever our books are purchased, no matter the venue!!! And, thank you.

Authoress news and mews ~

Oh, did moi have fun at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS with the blog comments for her post. This has become the norm for our posts because of our witty, humorous group of authors... if you just like a good easy time, even some silliness, and enjoy the shapeshifter romance genre, come on by.

Today, the Kougar made a couple of executive decisions regarding the future of a couple of her ebooks, and made inquiries along those lines... so, it depends on what develops next. Yep, the future is an open book. ~add a smirking kitten mug~

Also, the Kougar is blogging at THE ROMANCE STUDIO on Wednesday, September 1. Here’s the beginning ~

Creamy Fruit Kisses

As women, we are beautifully, divinely unique. As human beings, we are multi-faceted in our personalities and in our spiritual makeup. Individual as snowflakes. I like to think of it as being diamond faceted.

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 611 ~

Sylva knew that if she’d felt unnerved before, she did now. Pushing herself upwards, she kept listening for contact. It’s not that she had any idea what she could do about Snake or anything at all. Instinctively, Sylva gazed around the subtly lit room for weapons. Her eye landed on the glint of pistols, a pair of them mounted near the bedroom door. Rising, she grabbed up her robe and padded toward them. Of course, she had no idea if they were loaded. Though, on this Earth it was likely they were. Damn! Talk about living the adventure, she thought.

Zeke aimed his gaze like he did his blasting weapons. A smoky residue billowed off the soldiers who had ignored their attack at first. Now, they appeared to weaken while frantically working to blow open the electro-magnetically sealed door. Two of them spun around to answer their fire. Shooting as one, Zeke and Nevada overpowered them and watched them slump to the floor. To Zeke’s eye, it looked as though the other four operated like automatons, impervious to what occurred around them. Whatever explosive elements they used began to unseal the door. Tiny neon blue cracks formed. Zeke advanced faster.
