Two Fawns and a Golden Eagle Girl

Saturday heat meows, my lively and lyrical Kittens... oh, the world is moving at a rapid whirl like never before... the Kougaress had to make a jaunt into town for the necessary stuff, but also ended up with a demo, half-price weed wacker... she hopes to clear a few paths through her jungle realm on the tame prairie... hope, being the operative word here.

On the way she saw two beautiful fawns, who were obviously siblings, if not twins... moi hopes the darlings are okay. They’re past the spotted coat age, but don’t look half-grown yet. One of them stood in middle of gravel road, bounding away at moi’s slow approach... the other fawn quickly followed from the other side of the road... the first fawn gracefully leapt over the pasture fence, while the second fawn galloped along the fenceline, then squeezed through a brushy place, it obviously knew about.

Then, as this Big Cat unloaded from her shopping trip, an eagle took off from a tree close to her barn and winged over the so-called yard at not more than 4 or 5 feet off the ground. The angle of the sun highlighted the golden eagle’s wing feathers and it’s distinctive beak... it might have been a girl, since it was large, obviously... but not as big as some predator birds moi has seen.

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 523 ~

Sylva focused on her cowboy. Stroking his handsome jaw, she asked, “What happened?” She realized he ‘rounded up’ his thoughts, and remained silent. “The unwashed masses,” he began,”that was the battle cry during a bloody time in our Earth’s history. The late sixteen hundreds was a period of unbelievable slaughter. The ‘unwashed masses’ on the European continent found out that a secret group calling themselves the Bilderbergs had kept the wars going for decade after decade, all for the sake of profit and power. The wars had been devastating, killing off more than half the population... ruining the land.”

Zeke peered at his Sylva’s face to make certain she remained okay. “Ruining the land,” she prompted. Zeke hauled in a breath. “When folks found out they’d been fighting each other, losing their family members, because they’d been led like dumb beasts, and lied to, over and over again, they rebelled. They hurled their ‘unwashed’ garments mobbing any of the Bilderbergs they could find. Fast as a wind-fed wildfire, they turned against their so-called masters. Europe burned then, the folks raging like a herd of longhorns to win their freedom. The razor-sharp horns of their anger finally won the day.”

Thanks so much for the plug!

I was watching a movie this morning, and I thought of you. I stopped the movie and checked your blog. And had to smile. I was watching The Yearling.

Savanna Kougar said...

Serena, oh, they do. I wish I saw them more often.

Savanna Kougar said...

Hi LK, there's something so graceful and powerful at the same time about deer.
Of course, as a kid, I fell in love with Bambi.

Savanna Kougar said...

Shiner, talk about a lovely synchronicity! It makes me tingle.

Dear Kougar-rand (I like to think of you as pure gold), This is a 'thank you' post. I bought Red Lioness (when I was dating one) to find out what she wanted and deserved. I found much more. A great story, memorable characters and a bunch of sexi-licious ideas to try out. All of them worked! Just curious, how many men do you think read your work just for the ideas! Your cub, Shiner

Savanna Kougar said...

Dear Cub Shiner, I have no idea how many men read my work. I wish I knew.
I do know it makes me all happy glowy inside when anything I write helps others enjoy sex/passion/love in their lives. Smiles and purrs, your Kougar-rand.
