Blogger ate my post again!!!
by Rebecca Gillan

So I just popped in to see if I had any comments... and noticed that Blogger ate my post again. It ate my post last week, too. But this week, I'm really annoyed because it was, IMO, a very fine post. And I typed it right on the screen, so I don't have a copy of it ANYWHERE!

And it's 9:30pm, so I don't have time to remember exactly where I wrote, other than it was a funny skit about bubble-headed blonds mistaking a pack of girls singing 99 Red Balloons in German for a rousing swear-word orgy. (Thank Pat for that one!)

It's time, my lady
by Lisa Lickel

The Warrior's song echoed, or was that just her imagination? Ominous red sparkles like fireworks charred her robe as she fell. The cold air burned her lungs when she opened her mouth again.

Oompf! A painful embrace halted her fall.

Numb--Where were her legs? Her hands?

A Cosmic Roller Coaster!

With Venus holding the reins over the next few days, the cosmos will take you in so many directions that it'll be hard to keep track of where you're going -- and which way is up!

The ride begins in a romantic fog on April 6, when Venus squares off against Neptune. Things may seem rose-colored, but you're probably not seeing the relationship for what it really is -- meaning that you could fall hard when reality rears its ugly head. Remember: If things seem too good to be true, they probably are. Do your best to breathe deeply and look at the full picture.

Confusion also builds on April 6 when the full Moon in Libra rises opposite the Aries Sun. The Libra Moon strives for elegance, tact and harmony; the Aries Sun aims for, well, exactly the opposite. If you're able to balance diplomacy with bold action, however, this transit can work in your favor.

On April 7, Venus moves to form another square, this time with aggressive Mars. The day will exude passion ... but possibly at the expense of either yourself or your partner. One of you will be direct and demanding; the other will try to smooth over every wrinkle and struggle to keep up.

Fortunately, April 9 brings Venus and Uranus together for a day of fun and flirtation! Then, finally, this cosmic roller coaster ride takes one last spin on April 10, as intense and powerful Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn. Plans related to work and money will hit a wall and force you back to the drawing board, so take time to get to the root of the problem and hone exactly what it is you're after. If you do, you'll be ready to take off when Pluto finally goes direct again in September!

With so much Venusian influence, this is an ideal week to unlock your deepest romantic desires

Note: Ya see the big white bears this Big Cat adores are okay despite the moronic con man known as a former VP.

First they came…

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ~ ~

"First they came…" is a famous statement attributed to pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group. There is some disagreement over the exact wording of the quotation and when it was created; the content of the quotation may have been presented differently by Niemöller on different occasions.

The text of the quotation is usually presented roughly as follows:

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

FIRST THEY CAME FOR MY BUSINESS... And few cared to help because they weren't in that business. So they came for more businesses, and one by one, they fell like dominoes.

They came for those who sold and bought raw milk. They came for the lemonade stands. They came for the fruit and vegetable stands.

They came for the small farmers, the ranchers, and the Amish. They came for those who chose to eat wholesome and organic foods. They came for anyone who dared to be different.

They came for the heritage seeds and any heritage domestic animal. They slaughtered the wild horse herds so human and horse could no longer be allies. They slaughtered the pets, so humans and animals could no longer love each other.

They came for the precious water. They came for the privately owned land. They came for anything they could legally steal. They came for the taxes most could no longer pay.

But still, my business wasn't affected, so I didn't stand with my neighbors. I didn't stand with others in a different business. I didn't stand because I was spiritually protected... so I believed, until they came for me, and all those like me.

The most powerful weapon is the human soul on fire.
