Wheat Seeds and Tenuous ~ Word of the Day

Oh, darling KitKats, the cooler temps continue on the tame prairie... it’s so lovely and not humid... more than likely that will change soon... so, moi thought she would do her best to get back into the swing of writing on her WIPs... nope, an article she perused mere hours ago talked about using the wheat genome to change the crop’s genetics... yeah, supposedly for the benefit of us all... hey, this Big Cat ain’t seen no evidence of that having occurred since she heard about it in first grade... yeah, yeah, she’s heard all the propa-genda about the great and wonderful scientific advances... in her estimation that is a crock of poo, poo being more fertilizer-useful.

So, the Kougaress went searching for organic wheat seed, and other organic seed, including heirloom corn... her thought being that perhaps, if she got the plants going good, the seed would over-winter and start volunteering like her plucky tomatoes have done this year. Anyway... maybe, maybe this project-experiment will come about. It would be so cool to have naturally growing plants to use as food.

Tenuous ~ Word of the Day ~ why ‘tenuous’? That’s how everything feels these days to the Kougaress. Life itself feels tenuous at best. There are so many drastic changes happening. So many dynamics in flux at this time. This Big Cat contends the world will not be or look the same in five years. The positive is, this is an opportunity to grab the future like the proverbial bull’s horn, hang on, and start creating the world the way we’d all love to see it, and live it... the paradise Earth is.

Note: If you happened to claw-catch moi’s experience with the strange circling plane posted a few blogs... it dawned on the Kougaress that she saw NO WINDOWS on that plane as it flew above her! Now, it’s possible the angle of the flight hid a window, or even the way the sun reflected obscured the window... still, this Big Cat doesn’t think there was a window... hmmmm... if true, that means it was a drone of some type. Most likely.

Sylva stared while feeling as if she’d jumped back. What was it with portals on this Earth? Of course, she’d probably arrived via portal. Wondering what in the effing hell to do, wondering how to warn Zeke, she watched an army of men in black military-like garments pour through a gray swirling opening. They carried huge black rifles. Damn, damn it! She didn’t even know where she was in the Center... if this was still the Center. Ripping her astral gaze away from the steady stream of black-ops looking soldiers, she tried to find something that would identify her location.

Zeke shouted for everyone’s attention, then yelled, “We’re about to be attacked! The Secret Circle is using a time travel portal.” He paused, noting the frozen expressions around him, most of the men disbelieving what he’d said. Course, he didn’t fault ‘em. Giving them all a righteous scowl, he continued, “No, I ain’t gone round the bend. Check those fancy frequency-reading monitors you got. I bet there’s anomalies already.” Immediately a huge screen blipped on. “There are anomalies,” the tech engineer reported. “We are analyzing them now. Here is the specific are of concern.” On screen, a weird shimmer spun.
