Sun in Virgo Day

Late evening yowls, it’s closing in on the midnight hour, my frisky and fabulous Felines... yep, this Big Cat definitely felt the transition from Leo to Virgo today... the energy of Leo is flamboyant while Virgo is down to Earth and generally practical. Summer is waning and Autumn is on the horizon... meow-believe it or not. The Kougaress can barely stand... so it feels... with time whipping by so fast.

When moi awakened today and looked outside... the blue sky appeared to be covered with a nasty soot. Upon opening the door and walking outdoors... well, NOTHING felt right. Not at all. This Big Cat *could not* even stay outside, it felt so bizarre. There was this odd sensation of frantic harsh vibrations. Of course, this has never happened before... but, really, what is going on, frequency-wise?

And! *whew* Dreamtime for the Kougaress was rough... all sorts of disjointed unsettling dreams... tossing and turning occurred... and then, some sort of major disaster or major strike-against-the-system event occurs in Britain, and the world topples... as in the Great Depression. Yeeee-owwww! No!!!

Yep, and howdy, cowgirl and cowboy Big Cats. #9 it is... hey and hay bales, still a good buckin’ showin’ for Branded by the Texans... and nearly three weeks on Siren-BookStrand’s bestseller list... Okay, so the Kougar is due to blog at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS in her usual Tuesday slot... well, she had one idea in mind for her post, that is, until she read Pat Cunningham’s bloggie and took up her Flash challenge.

Leah dove through the cave mouth seconds ahead of the downpour. She scooted to the back of the cave and watched the rain slice down. She slid out of her backpack with a muttered curse against the Weather Channel. Might as well get comfortable. From the looks of things she was going to be stuck here a while.

The lump in the corner she’d taken for a rock suddenly stirred and sat up. A huge, dark-furred bear blinked muzzily at her. Leah crammed her fist into her mouth to keep from screaming. She kicked her backpack towards the towering animal. Maybe it would go for the granola bars in the pocket and leave her alone.

The bear blinked again. Suddenly it vanished, replaced by a gigantic man covered in a thick mat of body hair. “Is it spring already?” he mumbled.

How many of us were the ones back even in grammar school who preferred sitting with a good book than hanging around people? I was one. I was happiest sitting in my room, reading.

Sylva sensed Zeke’s deep reluctance over what Indyra had telepathed. Not that she blamed him one itsy bitsy tiny bit. The hurricane force of what they’d already been through slammed her around emotionally. How must he feel? ‘Why?’ Zeke demanded, ‘what’s in it?’ Bear Feather approached to face them more fully, his visage stoic, yet concerned. ‘The plans for how to activate, how to use the time portal.’ He appeared to pause. ‘There is also a small crystal device found in one of your Earth’s pyramids.’ Sylva felt Zeke consider Bear Feather’s words carefully, before asking, ‘How big is this box?’

Zeke knew without doubt, the time had come to rescue Coon and Snake’s loved ones. The urge snapped like a whip inside him. He also knew it would be dangerous. He wasn’t so damn certain about this supposed time-travel box. Still, Bear Feather’s sincerity shone from him in a spiritual way he couldn’t deny. Yep, the compulsion to keep listening did have a grip on him. ‘It’s bigger than a cigar box,’ Bear Feather answered. Zeke grinned in spite of himself. ‘As long as I can carry the damn box. That device doesn’t weigh a ton or two, does it?’

After a deeper study into the whole licensing thing, this Big Cat has come to the conclusion that it is a sneaky form of lucrative slavery, labeled as ‘for the public’s safety’, which grew out of the old Jim Crow laws.
