Foggy Persistence

Late evening meows, my adored and alluring KitKats, from the fogged-in tame prairie.... the Kougar has made some good *cross your claws* progress on polishing Branded by the Texans... still, yowls a long way to go.

Oops! It dawned on moi that she forgot the one year anniversary date for the release of MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS ~ yep, January 15th, the date of for this year’s eclipse.
Gee, wouldn’t it be nice if the Kougar’s book eclipsed its previous sales by a very large margin... hmmmm and purrs.
Wow, synchronicity is a demon in this case... take a look at the *first line* and consider the earthquake catastrophe in Haiti...

Blurb ~

~ This story spun and formed in my imagination, turbulent as a sea storm ~ then sprang forth onto paper and onto my computer screen like Poseidon’s powerful emergence from the ocean, during a time lost to history when gods and goddesses ruled the world and the heavens above.

Gardenia, New Atlantis... The future begins here...

The story of beginning a new world on a legendary land...
The beginning of a love Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing never believed was possible for her, especially not after a hundred years on Earth...
The beginning of a love Federal Agent Zryphus has arrived on Earth to find, only he didn’t plan on remaining in a land where women are in charge...

First Line:
The evil cloud of hair spray dominated the air in guest room 666 at Gardenia’s only motel, The Eternal Magnolia – so named because it was surrounded by a park-like acre of Magnolia trees, saved despite the cataclysmic weather, wars and land changes on Earth.

Heroine and Hero:
Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing is 100 years old in the year 2051. A rebel at heart, an artist by soul, she survived the sterile fifties’ suburbs, the revolutionary turbulence of the sixties, the disco guru seventies. After the suicide of the man she loved, Kalypso barely survived the designer eighties, the fast-forward nineties. In the 21st century Mother Nature rebelled. Kalypso battled for freedom. She never knew why she survived. Until Atlantis rose. Once again.

Agent Zryphus Dolen Vasquoz chose an enforcement career on Earth for several reasons – his fascination with primitive worlds, to make his own way outside the family heritage, to keep official watch for his own Worlds – and, Zerculeon men find Earth women highly desirable, like the gods of old they rival in strength. Since there aren’t enough Zerculeon women, it’s a match made in intergalactic heaven. Especially when Zryphus gets a real eyeful of the Sheriff.

Weekly Angelic Forecast from Volcano

Straight from the Carnal Cherub himself...

Angelic Forecast ~ #72

The following week, and two weeks, look for every manner of incredible communication. It will be raining down communications from heaven and firing communications at us all from the depths of hell. This will occur on a personal level, at a business/job/career level and, of course, from those who consider themselves to be on high ~ the officials, the authorities, the regulators.
There will be a flurry of new things you can’t do and things you now have to do.
It is for you to determine how you will live. Will it be beneath the rules of others? Or, will it be according to your own highest nature?
Will you choose the freedom to think for yourself? Or, will you allow others to think for you?
That is this week’s challenge to all of us.

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 386 ~

Sylva tingled violently inside, knowing her words were actually true. “Damn it to hell,” she muttered. “I think that’s going on.” Zeke rocked back, a thoughtful frown on his face as he placed his hands behind his head. “Well, for dang sure, darlin’, this is one conversation we’ll keep it under our hats. Whatever strategy we decide on will be more effective if no one’s lookin’ our way.” Sylva reached for a ripe red strawberry. If she faced suck a high level danger, like the shadow government, why not enjoy life to the hilt? She bit into the juicy luscious fruit.

Zeke fastened his gaze on the sexy adorable picture his Sylva made as she savored her strawberry. After the first bite she dipped her tongue out licking the red juice on her lips. Slowly, he leaned forward, offering his lips. Finishing, she smiled like a sensuous minx, then moved to meet him. Their lips joined, melded with their mutual passion, and kissed in a softly ferocious manner that had his loins charging up like one of his father’s racing motors, even as another part of him relished the heated sensuality of their mouths clinging together. “Sylva, darlin’, eat another strawberry.”
