Yep, my weekend-romping Kittens, hibernating is looking darn good to the Kougaress. Any friendly cuddly bears out there?
It’s yowling the deep freeze blues and pitiful complaining mews from this Big Cat. Plus, she’s headed back under the covers as soon as possible.
Still *knock on wood* the Kougar is paw-penning the last chapter of her Branded by the Texans... but, shush, not too loud... no jinxes, please!
Even so, there are the revisions and edits to be made... the careful combing through to make certain her story is as good as moi can make it before actual submission.
That being meow-ed, so far, claws crossed, this Big Cat author is happy with her story. Verra smiling happy. Yeehaw!

Sylva couldn’t get enough of the man’s carved features, and continued stroking. His eyes held bewilderment in their depths mirroring her own state of mind. He covered her caressing hand with his, and gently fondled. “Darlin’, I think the Silver Sun must be affectin’ you.” Startled by the words ‘silver sun’, Sylva paused, but didn’t take her palm from his face. “The blending,” she murmured. He frowned, puzzled. Yet, there was also an awareness that glimmered in his eyes. “The blending? Can you tell me what you mean, Sylva?” Shutting her eyes, she considered his question. “I am the blending.”

Zeke gripped his wife’s hand harder. Everything inside him tightened brutally. “Sylva, darlin’, I think you’ve blended with another woman. One in the past. Probably one that was at the Stone Gateway. Did you dream travel there again?” She nodded once. “I talked with Merlin. I wasn’t there long.” Zeke felt his own frown crease his forehead. “Merlin. What did he say?” His woman smiled softly as she remembered. “He said I’d lived there. That I helped to create Avalonia.” Her smiled widened. “He said I belonged.” Zeke would have done anything in that moment to get his Sylva back.
