How We Used To Play As a Child

Yeah, wow, Summer-Rolling Big Cats ... the Kougar WOULD NOT trade her wild-at-heart growing up, running around, playing neighborhood baseball [she always got picked over boys because she could hit the ball, and run] ... and running around pretending she was a horse, or a rough-tough cowgirl ... and slamming the neighborhood bully with his own toy rifle, because he hit first... and... well, lots of such stories.... NOW... she wouldn't want to be a child in this current cyber *keep them at home or imprisoned in school* culture ... not for ANYTHING!!!

10 Differences Growing Up a 70s Child Compared to Today


As a child who grew up in the seventies, I’m flabbergasted at the degree of generational differences in health, medicine, food, safety, and general well-being of children. Don’t get me wrong, I love technology and all the advancements we’ve made in several areas, but at the same time when you break it down to the simplest ways of managing human lives, we’ve taken one step forward and three steps back.
