Over Twenty-four Hours of Rain... wahoo!

Now there's a plane ride this Big Cat would have loved... even if she'd been totally scared, because how exhilarating and exciting... and what an opportunity to see the mountain grandeur in this way.

Mt. McKinley Flight

On a recent trip to Anchorage, Alaska I decided to rent a little 4 passenger air plane. I decided to fly up to Mt. McKinley. I flew on one of the few days out of the year that enabled me to fly completely around the mountain. This is a view from the co-pilot seat, where I was sitting. Following the glacier through the gorge, I ascended to around 11,000 feet to pass over the ridge leading to the Northern side of the mountain. It was as if I could reach out and touch the rocky slope.

Saturday into Sunday yowls... my peppy pretty Kittens... wow, is the Kougaress ever happy and impressed that the gentle rains continued for over 24 hours on her tame prairie... on Friday she heard that in some areas the drought had gone six feet deep... of course, most of the tame prairie's topsoil has been shielded by leaves and dry-grass for years now, which always helps to keep the moisture in... oh, sighs of big frustration, though... today started off NOT in a fun way at all, and turned into another major trauma drama 2012 situation. ~insert another colossal sigh~

This life experience should cure the Kougaress from ever wanting to try a similar one again. And she likes living in the material world, so to speak. 'Not' as it is now, but what it could truly be.

Authoress news and mews ~

Last night, the Kougar did get some good penning done on her WIP ~ Her Midnight Stardust Cowboys ~

Be Careful What You Wish For
by Solara

“What job?” Jackson burped as he tried to swallow his mouth full of burger. Damn, Remo knew when to catch a dude off guard.

Remo slid another half-full beer glass to Jackson. “Now that you’re eating son, listen up. A few more swallows won’t have you drunk. “

Jackson continued chewing. Listening didn’t cost him anything. Besides his cash would stretch so far before he needed work. Cattle herding and cowboy work wouldn’t be plentiful amongst the beach crowd.

The Business Rusch: A Warning To All Writers Who Need Help Indie Publishing
Written By: Kristine Kathryn Rusch - Aug• 29•12

From the beginning, I have warned readers of this blog away from services that promise to publish your e-books for a percentage of the royalties. I haven’t done so in a while, and I really need to again.

Here’s why:

These businesses will harm you and your career. Best case, they’re run by well-intentioned idiots who have no idea how a business works. Worst case, they’re scams.

11:11 pm... 11:33 pm... 11:44 pm... 11:55 pm... 2:12 am... 2:22 am... 3:33 am... a strange and deranged week ahead... keep your tails tucked and be ready to move...

Yes once again, another sickening tech-development by the corp-gov that panders to fear and ignorance... oh, for a world where technology was all about serving humanity in beneficial ways, instead of emulating Hitler and 'those' who brought him into power... THOSE, and their offspring who now reign as what some call the new world order crowd.

The Cashless Grid Is Here: Google Wallet Aims to Make Leather Wallet Obsolete

“There will be a time – I don’t know when, I can’t give you a date – when physical money is just going to cease to exist.” -Economist Robert Reich.

“We want you to be able to leave your leather wallet at home.”

That’s the stated goal from Google Wallet, who is offering new incentives to leave behind plastic credit cards, cash and goad the techno-generations into learning to love the cashless control grid long plotted by technocrats and their one world banker allies.

The most powerful weapon is the human soul on fire.
