Free Range Kids... and Disgusttitude

Because there's a better way to live on Mother Earth. She wants to be a paradise again.

Late night yowls, my free range Kittens... another 90s day on the tame prairie... since there's been some rain, the land has greened up a bit... but, gosh, much more rain is needed, please, oh, please... all power to Mother Earth, not the dark-side weather controllers.

BIG CAT RANT ~ because she won't shut her big meowing yap ~

It just feels like things are busting loose even more, here, and around the world... insanity and sheer craziness are quantum leaping... a three-year old deaf child isn't allowed to sign his name... and really, we should all call ourselves Hunter now... the moronic perverts at the TSA are dipping gawd knows what kind of testing strip in beverages bought at airport vendors... well, hell, who knows what they're putting in your drink... they could be spiking it with LSD like the corp-gov agencies have done before to unsuspecting people... there'd be NO WAY this Big Cat would ever drink anything tested by the TSA... really, how stupid is that? Especially given so many of the TSA employees have major criminal records.

Apologies, my darlings, but really the world has gone Orwellian bonkers, and this Big Cat's nerves are stretched to beyond breaking at this point... although, one 'smile moment' occurred today when this new word popped into the Kougaress's brain as she listened to comments made about the idiotic 'who cares' political convention, both of them. *Disgusttitude*

And, yeah, FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS spent on each of the conventions... gosh, what about the needs of the people? Not to mention, the conventions are a dark-side magical ceremony meant to beguile, bespell, zombify the people, those who are gullible. The Kougaress never used to realize that aspect beyond the pomp and ceremony, which she never found impressive anyway. Given the insights of others, and her own recent 'flashbulb' insight... hell, yeah, that's what those conventions are, a black arts' ceremony. Oh, for a much better world without all this utter sick crap.

Authoress news and mews ~

THE KOUGAR ON 'REVIEWS' ~ she's not happy, and hasn't been for a long while now ~

Note: This is the Kougar's comment in response to another author's ONE review on her new release. Further, she offers an apology to any reader who is offended. However, this Big Cat author writes niche romance, with the precious individual in mind. She *does not* possess the talent needed to write for the romance industry's idea of what the masses want. Just the way it is..

"...that could be, as far as the heat level. However, what is one person's cup of tea is not another person's. I have poor reviews for HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES at Amazon, and the book still sells pretty well. In fact, it's been at the top recently.

So, who knows? I am personally more and more disenchanted with the WHOLE REVIEW Thing, unless it's really an honest review. There's so much 'you pat my back, I'll pat yours'. Authors attack each other with poor reviews. For some sites, it's just a money-making operation. Or, it's 'well you're in the IN CROWD, so we'll review your book'. Plus, there's been a whole big revelation around 'paid for reviews'. And, really, I think, at times, it's the readers who can't 'comprehend' very well, or read at a third grade level, then end up writing reviews. Their reading ability is hardly the author's fault. I'm not writing at an ever-lower level, just so I can have a large readership. Long ago, it was sixth grade level. Then it was fifth grade level... and not to mention, the whole educational system is failing, so the reading level keeps going down, overall. Of course, there is always the 'individual' who is the exception.

Just my opinion, Savanna"

Free Range Kids... once upon a time the Kougaress, her siblings, and our friends, roamed the neighborhood with some degree of freedom. It was heavenly. Sure, we had some big challenges. Had to handle difficult situations ourselves. Isn't that what growing up is all about?

But, not these days. Oh yeah, now we have free range chickens and free range beef, but very few free range children. So much of growing up is now *Learned Helplessness* ~ and more's the pity for all of us, especially the future generation.

Alex talks with Lenore Skenazy, editor of the Free Range Kids website, who was contacted by a mother in Virginia who related her story of how she was interrogated by police four times and visited by social services twice after her children were spotted playing outside unsupervised. Additional guests include father and daughter and Steve and Andrea Hernandez of who talk with Alex in-studio about San Antonio area High School honor student who has refused to wear a school mandated RFID tracking beacon around her neck because doing so conflicts with her religious beliefs.

Yeah, that's right... keep sticking it to the people... like this isn't just one drip from the iceberg of corruption.
