Whoop-ti-friggin-do

Han Solo was suddenly looking all too good...

Late night fractured and frazzled purrs, my adorable and adventurous Pussycats... the Autumn weather on the tame prairie has been gorgeous... of course, rain is needed now... so, hopefully, those little raindrops will be soaking in and quenching the tame prairie’s thirst.
~~~
Whoop-ti-friggin-do ... the Kougaress heard this new-to-her phrase spoken a couple of days ago... it was said in a low-key, yet sarcastic manner... at the time, the word and the tone used resonated deeply with her, because it seemed to sum up so much of what is going on in the world right now... in general, that is.
This usage whether impromptu or not, seems to be an updated version of the phrase ‘whoop-ti-do’ with a *well, la-de-da* attitude added to it, along with, of course... a ‘friggin’ I’m-pissed-off thrown in for good measure.
This Big Cat has always been fascinated with the evolution of words and phrases -- or the organic uprising of the language that accompanies social changes and either reflects or helps to invent the future *art reflecting life, life reflecting art, the dragon eating its tail*... that is, how it all plays out in sociological terms. And, it’s just a kewl way of looking at the times, and how incredibly inventive we humans can be.
Is This Man a Wolf
By Savanna Kougar
“Is this man a wolf?” Bregha dramatically placed the centerfold picture of a nearly naked, somewhat hairy man with cockiness written all over his face, beneath Kazni’s gaze.
Gingerly taking hold of what had been called a magazine approximately sixty years ago, Kazni demanded, “Did you take this from the museum?” She frowned at her younger sister, “Without authorization?”
The mutinous set of Bregha’s jaw, and the defiant spark in her eye, answered Kazni’s question. She sighed loudly, exasperation boiling inside her.
“One of these days you’re going to get into serious trouble, Bregha. I know you enjoy your position there. Why jeopardize it?”
“I’ll return it... undamaged. That’s all Jaeve cares about. Besides, he won’t rat me out.” With a careless shrug, Bregha pivoted beside her. “What do you think? A wolf shapeshifter?”
