Volcanic Cauldron... it’s a good thing...

Late night frustrated mews, my talented and terrific KitKats... much cooler temps on the tame prairie, but this Big Cat can’t complain even if she does feel too chilly... not with all the extreme weather and earthquakes that have happened and are happening.

Yowls, frustrated because of all the heavy-duty research and learning around Indie publishing. What happened to simple? As far as the advantages of the computer/cyber tech age? What happened to typing the book out, having a simple formatting application, and uploading? Okay, there’s the editing/proof-reading and the cover art, both of which can go well, or be complicated, too. There are all the decisions to be made about this, that and the other, at every turn. Then, there’s some evidence to suggest that Amazon is favoring the so-called established authors in an unfair manner over Indie authors. The Kougaress has to wonder when humanity is going to get the idea of ‘equality’, as in a fair playing field for ALL.

Really, this Big Cat applauds those authors who are successful!

Volcanic Cauldron... it’s a good thing... The Kougaress learned something verra interesting today about volcanos in the realm of health... when she was a cublet in school one of the history lessons had to do with folks farming on land enriched by volcanic eruptions because obviously the plants grew so much better. There are certain kinds of clay used for various healing modalities, and there are miracle testimonies. This Big Cat used a product called Living Clay and it really helped her to think much faster and more clearly. Clay takes out toxins and germs, sucks them right out. And clay is from volcanoes. Volcanoes also create what are called monotomic substances, also superior for health. Today, another piece of the health puzzle fell into place. An erupting volcano rejuvenates the Earth by creating a cauldron of necessary minerals for Mother Earth, and all the life beings upon her. Obviously, this is one way Mother Earth takes care of herself, and all of us.

Authoress news and mews ~

Yes, the Kougar is writing... but, right now, everything feels really discombobulated. And mystifying. And bogged down.

BTW, if you have Lyme disease, think you have it, below is some info that could help you.
On a personal Big Cat Note: yes, the Kougaress has had the red bull’s eyes symptom when bitten by a tick. She always takes a natural antibiotic, Grapefruit Seed Extract, immediately, and also uses Tea Tree Oil topically. There are also other natural treatments for a severe case. One is the Vitamin C/Sea Salt combination. Worth checking out in this Big Cat’s opinion. However, Himalayan Salt and natural Vitamin C like in Camu Camu is better than just Vit C powder and salt tablets.

COAST TO COAST AM ~ Lyme Disease

Date: 09-14-11
Host: George Noory
Guests: Tom Grier, Catherine Salmon, Katrin Schumann

Medical researcher Tom Grier (email) talked about his battle with Lyme disease as well as the medical misconceptions and difficulties treating this pernicious ailment. Grier theorized that he'd originally contracted the ailment, which is spread via a tick bite, when he was a graduate student and would often go for long runs in the Minnesota wilderness. However, he said, the symptoms of Lyme disease did not emerge until over a decade later, when he began feeling extremely tired and depressed as well as experiencing fuzzy thinking, numbness in his hands and feet, visual disturbances, and other troubling conditions. After being misdiagnosed as having multiple sclerosis, the true nature of Grier's ailment was only determined after an alert doctor suggested checking for Lyme disease.

In looking at the myriad of problems associated with diagnosing the sickness, Grier proclaimed that "there's no disease on this planet that's more controversial at this point." He traced the issues back to the original description of Lyme disease in 1975, where Grier claimed that doctors "got a lot of things wrong with this new disease." Going forward, he said, the medical establishment has merely "built up on this mythology that they had started" and, even in modern times, testing for Lyme disease is only about 25% accurate. Additionally, Grier explained that Lyme disease is called "the great imitator," since it often has symptoms which look like other ailments and that the true number of those afflicted with the sickness may be 10 to 20 times greater than CDC estimates.

"They call it the 'practice' of medicine, but nowadays medicine is a fascist state," Grier lamented about the lack of options for Lyme disease victims. He observed that the scarcity of doctors who are adept in treating the sickness has created a situation where, once their specialty becomes known, they get overwhelmed with patients who are desperate for help. Alongside that problem is the lack of funding for research into the disease. Believing that a key aspect in understanding the sickness lies in its affect on the human brain, Grier said that he's been trying for over a decade to get funding from the NIH and CDC for such studies and has been continuously rebuffed. He surmised that this lack of support is because of trepidation from the medical community that his research would "prove them all wrong" about the true nature of the disease.

Serena, oh sparkly kisses coming your way. While there are some complexities in life that are good, this whole Indie thing is kind of the complex that really is just not necessary. IMO.
