Simply Love What We Do...

A lot to love in this pic...

After midnight meows, my flirty and quirky Hep Cats... Hades hot on the tame prairie until late afternoon when it clouded over... eventually a storm moved in, and, yep, some much-needed rain, plus a lovely cool down... for now.

Simply Love What We Do... Ya know, this came home to the Kougaress after she read the following blog. Imagine, if a lot of us transitioned mentally from the whole game of grabbing the brass ring, and of being ‘overly’ competitive, to a state of mind where we *simply love what we do*. Yes, this is along the lines of ‘doing what you love’ and ‘living your passion’. However, this Big Cat believes this ah-ha realization is a step closer to the soul, to our true human potential. Now, of course, there’s nothing wrong with competition, unless it’s used to destroy. Being competitive can bring out the best in each of us. And, yet. Isn’t it ultimately more rewarding if we ‘simply love what we do’? Whether we win, lose, or draw?

It's all in how you see it
by J. L. Wilson

I recently had a chance to talk to a group of writers about my publishing experiences and one topic came up that's near and dear to my heart: success. As I explained to them, every author has to define for him/herself what constitutes success. You can't count on lists, royalties, or fans -- as we all know, those can be capricious ways to measure success.

Venus's Challenges Improve Your Love Life!

If these last few days have felt a bit bumpy, then rest assured: Resolution is coming, and you'll soon be breathing a sigh of relief!

In recent days, sweet and social Venus in sensitive Cancer has been on an emotional roller coaster during contact with both mischievous Uranus and possessive Pluto. As its final challenge this week, Venus butts heads with severe Saturn on July 13. This interaction will require you to see your relationships exactly as they are - no rose-colored glasses allowed! The knowledge you gain will help you establish limits without being too critical. While frivolous Venusian romance is certainly fun, tossing stressful Saturn into the mix can ultimately result in a stronger, more lasting relationship.

Then, on July 15, the full Moon in Capricorn opposes the Cancer Sun. Capricorn is known for its workaholic tendencies, while Cancer is all about home and loved ones. With this full Moon, you'll find yourself in that classic tug of war between work and family. The goal here is not to choose one or the other, but rather to figure out how each can comfortably fit into your life. Don't worry if this sounds impossible at first -- with a bit of creativity, you can make this balancing act work!

BIG CAT WHAT IF?

Can you imagine what it would look like if there were 50 Million folks standing in breadlines? Because that’s how many Americans are on foodstamps now. Sadly. Now, imagine if we were a truly free people. What if we, as a population, hadn’t been made dependent ‘by design’ by the bankster-gangsters, and we were all living our passion? No one would be going hungry... very few of us would be living in poverty. We have been artificially kept from achieving our potential, and forced into dependency like someone who is force-fed drugs and turned into an addict by the bad guys.

I think most write for the love of the craft and are surprised if they become commercially successful.

Bree, yeah, that is true. Then, when you do have success it's a whole new ballgame as far as decisions, and how to respond, and what the next move is... at least, for me. ~grins~

Success in writing is that I finally get to share the characters squeezing my brains with others! :)
