Tell me a cowboy story...

Late night mews, my ice-cube rolling KitKats... another bake-me-in-the-oven day on the tame prairie with no relief in sight... although, there is relief in the mornings... even the Kougaress’s jungle of a yard helps with extra shade... ya can’t get that with a nicely trimmed lawn.

Authoress news and mews ~

Omygoodness, Kittens, this Big Cat author needs to find a way to speed up her writing. What that is, she has no clue. She certainly doesn’t want to sacrifice any quality, or the art and creativity of her books.

BTW, the Kougar discovered her flashdrives were slowing down her computer because of the amount of files on them. Since she wants to be able to back up her files darn fast, her solution is to use one with not much on it.

And! Because she had a backup keyboard on hand, the day was saved. The other one had a malfunction this morning. Now, she’s planning to get another one as soon as possible, plus another empty flashdrive. It’s no hop and skip to an electronics store out here on the tame prairie.

Blood Destiny ~ London Vampire in Talbot’s Peak
By Savanna Kougar

“Happy birthday to me. Five hundred years young.” Zvorak felt the derisive cut of his voice as if a blade sliced up his torso -- something he’d experienced on several occasions, usually because of his reckless nature.

Against his will, Zvorak’s fangs lengthened, and he mentally snarled, his mood as morose as the gray overcast sky. He peered out the second-floor window of his posh flat -- a last look before he departed London forever.

Huh...who'd a thunk a flash drive could be slowing down your computer. I use one for my wip, but maybe they are not as full as yours. Interesting info...thanks!

Yeah, it's nice to have back equipment like the keyboard and mouse, since I seem to be hard on them..hehe ;)

Serena, it's because I have a lot of files on them, and a lot of pics on one of them, apparently. They're not close to full, but obviously my computer isn't up to handling all the files on the hard drive and on the flashdrive. Even though, I still have a good amount of space on my hard drive.

Now, I just have to get backups, one more thing on the endless to-do list. ~argh!~
