Synchronicity is a Strange Animal... or Witch

Nighttime purrs, my Springtime Earth-adoring Big Cats... after some nasty warning thunder, a wowser of a hailstorm hit the tame prairie early this afternoon... those marble-sized babies pounded down, and nearly covered the ground... since the temps are cool today, they didn’t melt fast, either. Then, the heavy rains came, but only for a short time... however, it ain’t over.

Synchronicity is a Strange Animal... or Witch ... The Kougar’s KANDY APPLE AND HER HELLHOUNDS draws on the TV show, Bewitched, in a several ways. As inspiration because this Big Cat girl adored the witch-fascinating, magical and quirky show. While Kandy is not similar to Samantha, except for some of her witch talents, still, simply the idea of a witch among us is irresistible. There are, also, turning points in Kandy’s story, especially toward the end, that utilize trivia about the show. To say more than that would be too much of a plot giveaway.

Anyway, when the Kougaress spied this article, it was one of those sizzle-to-the-middle moments. Condolences to the friends and family of Sol Saks. He appears to have lived a full and amazing life.

Bewitched creator Sol Saks dies aged 100

Comedy writer Sol Saks, who created the 1960s US sitcom Bewitched, has died aged 100.

He died on Saturday of respiratory failure as a result of pneumonia at a Los Angeles hospital, his wife told the Los Angeles Times.

Starring Elizabeth Montgomery as a witch who marries a mortal man, Bewitched ran from 1964 to 1972.

Yet while he wrote the original pilot script, Saks never wrote another episode.

"He just sat back and took in the royalties," said Paul Wayne, a longtime friend and writer who worked on the show.

Saks said his inspiration came from two films: 1942's I Married a Witch, starring Fredric March and Veronica Lake, and 1958's Bell Book and Candle, starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.

"He was pretty honest about the fact it wasn't a particularly original idea," Wayne told the Los Angeles Times.

Before Bewitched, Saks wrote for such US radio comedies and TV series as My Favorite Husband, Mr Adams and Eve and I Married Joan.

He also wrote the screenplay for Cary Grant's last film, the 1966 comedy Walk Don't Run.

Big Cat by-the-numbers ~ FANG RANT AHEAD

12:12 am... 1:11 am... 2:12 am... 10:10 pm... at the instigation of the WIMP DEMONS who pass for leaders, class warfare is here, with so much more nastiness included. Given there is currently *no* capitalism [only the pretense of capitalism] and has been little to none since 1913, the call to end, and demonize capitalism as the cause of the current Depression-economy, is one HUGE FALSE TRAIL. In short, it’s a con against the people of major proportions by the globalists bankers and all their corp cronies. Gee, GE is a prime example. No taxes, record profits... raping, pillaging and plundering the people over and over again, all while building faulty nuke power plants like the ones in Japan. GE is an example of fascism, not capitalism. Having no particular love for any of the ‘isms’, the hyper-growing level of fascism/communism at this time in our history, is utterly abhorrent and also frightening beyond this Big Cat’s imagination. Hang on for a long series of Earth-shaking events... both the continued ‘land-changes’ upheaval occurring on Earth now, and the massive upheavals in societies all around our world... yep, we’re all in for a mighty bumpy ride that will seem endless, but isn’t.

When a character lingers
by Chelle Cordero

Fiction writers tend to get caught up in their characters’ lives. Sometimes a supporting character becomes an important player, but when that character stays with you and you just can’t get him (or her) go, then there is only one option – write another story focusing on that character.

13 Things That Could Happen If...
by Kayelle Allen

I'm taking a writing course from Holly Lisle, and in it, she suggested we let our muses run wild with the worst that could happen to us -- if we finish writing our current books. I modified my arm-length list to fit today's format of thirteen things.

Ancient Giants & Cosmic War

Date: 04-20-11
Host: George Noory
Guests: Joseph P. Farrell, Jerome Corsi, Richard C. Hoagland

Renowned researcher with a PhD from Oxford University, Joseph P. Farrell presented evidence for a hidden history of mankind that involved tyrannical giants and an elite race bent on genetic mutation. The Greeks, Hopi, Mayans, Iroquois, Aztecs, and the Bible all recorded an ancient war against giants in the dim past. "I was astounded at the parallels between all these very, very divergent cultures,"-- there seems to be some kind of worldwide or civil war against the giants, for different reasons including their sexual practices and/or cannibalism. This "cosmic war" may have involved something far more destructive than nuclear bombs-- torsion or scalar-based weapons that effectively annihilated both sides, he said.

Farrell cited ancient cuneiform tablets that suggest some type of genetic manipulation took place in which prototypical Earth females and Annunaki-type males were mixed to form modern humans, to serve as a slave race. This is particularly problematic, as our "cousins" may return one day to claim us as their property, he warned. Such ancient genetic engineering also produced chimerical beings composed of various human and animal components, he continued.

We're looking at the activity of one elite group, if not more, "that has been in continual existence more or less since ancient times," and their behavior is to try and preserve knowledge just for themselves, he said, adding that their activity is masked by religion, mystery schools, and temples. Farrell announced his forthcoming book The Grid of the Gods which deals with the aftermath of the cosmic war, and the physics of the "pyramid people." Richard C. Hoagland joined the conversation for a segment in the third hour.
Obama & Abioitc Oil

First hour guest, author Jerome Corsi talked about his forthcoming book, Where's the Birth Certificate? Though he couldn't reveal specifics ahead of its publication date in May, he implied that he's found evidence that Obama is not eligible to be President. Corsi also spoke out in favor of the abioitc oil theory--i.e. that oil is formed deep inside the Earth, but not from bio decay.

RIP, Sol Saks...

Oh how I loved watching Bewitched as a kid. Of course it was in reruns by then, but that didn't matter, I still wanted to be a witch. Maybe one like crazy cousin Serena! hehe

Oh, wouldn't it be great to twitch your nose, and create some much-needed or just whimsical magick? How I wish, especially in these times.
