No Time Travel Plots For You...

One of the Kougar's fave cowboys!

Saturday into Sunday purrs, my Springtime good-times Kittens... cold on the tame prairie until this afternoon... when the Kougaress opened her west-facing window this morning, the cold wind blasted her mug hard... of course, the weather, here, is nothing like the terrible storms down south, and now moving up the east coast.

Here’s a huge puzzlement that this Big Cat won’t get an answer to, most likely. That is, if she asks the experts. Other than some pablum nonsensical answer based on the belief this Big Cat doesn’t know what she’s talking about. However, SHE DOES! From last year, at this time, the sun has radically changed it’s path across the sky. Last Spring and Summer Mr. Sol traveled a more southerly route, and set, more and more, due west. Currently, the sun’s path is overhead and Mr. Sol is setting in the northwest. The Kougaress watched him set, and he was, at one point, a gorgeous buttercup shade of yellow, and bright. Yeah, so, she’s never seen that color at sundown before... and so, yeah, instead of setting due west, Mr. Sol set in the northwest. Why?

Conclusion: the Earth has to have changed its position in the heavens.

Upon doing an internet search for anything that might address why... well, the Kougaress did find this ~

Astronomy Answers: AstronomyAnswerBook: The Position of the Sun
Jan 26, 2011 ... Around 21 March and 23 September, the setting Sun is almost due west. The size of the difference between the northernmost and southernmost ... ~ astro.uu.nl/~strous/AA/en/antwoorden/zonpositie.html

No Time Travel Plots For You... so, if you live in China forget about it. No time travel plots for you on TV or in the movies, or wherever... maybe books too. Why? Because your gov says it’s frivolous. Of course, your gov is not really your gov, just like the gov here is not for the people, by the people, or of the people. It’s just a bunch of psychopaths who have conned the people and taken over.

So, really, why the ban on time travel plots? There is likely a reason far more sinister than the notion it’s a frivolous plot. Could it be, it’s an attempt to limit the imagination of the human mind? After all, the future is determined by humanity’s imagining. Obviously, there are good reasons to be careful about time travel, whatever the technology used, or the spiritual method used. Still, it never works to keep humanity in the dark ages. The result is always horrific suffering, as is occurring now. For example, who among us, if we knew we could time travel to a better time, a better place... wouldn’t we jump at the chance? As long as those we love are with us?

Sci fi interestingly, there are those, scientists and non-professionals, who have created ways to time travel, whether for a few minutes into the future, or stepping into another time. Their work has been suppressed, stolen, and destroyed. They’ve disappeared strangely. Either because they took the permanent leap, or corp nasties assassins got them. Or, they were paid off. Whatever the scenario, time travel does exist now.

And, of course, it would exist if there are time travelers because obviously they would need ways to return to their own times. And, not to mention, there are natural portals and previously built time portals on Earth. Too often, folks have been driving and end up in a completely different place and time. For awhile they are out of this time loop, in a parallel dimension, or some other reality... only to return to this time and place.

Evidence abounds about the reality of time travel. However, of course, THOSE who don’t want you to know the truth, have created a culture where you’re considered cuckoo for cocoa puffs. You know the tin-hat, giggle factor culture most have been taught.

That’s why it’s so refreshing to have time travel plots of every kind, and of every imagining, just in the romance novel genre.

No News Is Not Necessarily Good News
by Solara

Tongson looked at the cat laying amongst the covers on his bed. When had Tavia gotten this animal? The poor critter looked like someone had scared him shitless. At least he hadn't left such evidence in the bed.

"Tavia," he called out. "Where did this mangy creature come from?"

There are SPIES on Facebook
Friday, April 15, 2011

The US military is developing software that will let it secretly manipulate social media sites, like Facebook, by using fake online personas to influence internet conversations and spread pro-American propaganda. So your "facebook friend" may really be a covert agent who is spying on you!

A California corporation has been awarded a contract with a part of the CIA called Centcom to develop what is described as an "online persona management service" that will allow one US serviceman or woman to control up to 10 separate identities, based all over the world. It's kind of like flying a "drone," but using the internet to do it. In the March 17th edition of the Guardian newspaper, Nick Fielding and Ian Cobain quote Centcom spokesman Commander Bill Speaks as saying, "The technology supports classified blogging activities on foreign-language websites to enable Centcom to counter violent extremist and enemy propaganda outside the US." The languages used will include Arabic, Farsi, Urdu and Pashto.

NOTE: Yeah, like this capability will ONLY be used against a so-called foreign enemy. Yeah, you betcha... don’t take any bets on it, you’ll lose.

Thanks Savanna! A Magical Returns cover is amazing...Amanda Kelsey hit the ball out of the park for me again! Her work is incredible! :)

Oh I love time travel and TT plots, who doesn't secretly have dreams of going to the past to see what really happened or to the future to see what it will be like, or picking up a book and stepping into someone else's ideas of a time long past...

I love time travel and interdemential travel and all things sci-fi and steampunk. Everyone's imagination needs a good stretch on a regular basis.

I especially love the place called the Three Star Republic. <3 I really hope you imagination takes a trip there again and we meet some more characters.

Serena, oh I know it would be a dream come true to visit the past and the future as an observer. And, the amazing variety of plots these days, what's not to love?

Corinne! Lovely to see you. Absolutely! Everyone's imagination does need a good stretch... hey, a question for you. Would the TV show, Wild, Wild West be considered somewhat steampunk? I have a plot in mind around that.

Oh, yes, I just added to the idea pile-file today for the next book... and, the story is always percolating... Dono has to 'cool his jets' after flying the Katydid with Kylie...

Absolutly! I would consider Wild Wild West as an example of Steampunk. I now a lot of people didn't like that movies but I didn't think it was that bad. Kind of like junk food for the brain LOL

I'd love to read more about the Katydid after the teasing in the first book ;-) Out of curosity, is the second book about the boys and Kylie or is there another set of brothers and a different heroine featured?

Hi Corinne, interesting. I didn't see the movie. But I religiously watched the TV series. I think it was innovative beyond its time.

The second book focuses more on Dono and Kylie, and how their relationship evolves. Of course, it's still Dillon, Dono, Dash and Kylie's story. But, I'll include secondary menage characters.
