Nighttime yawns and yowls, my sweet sensational Pussycats... yep, it turned cold and gray on the tame prairie, and a bit icy... and more is on the way... YUCK! Still, so far, this Big Cat can’t complain near as much as come feline folks out there, given their winter weather circumstances. Take care, my darlings.

Omymeows, is the world tilt-a-spinning now... and why this Big Cat’s head isn’t whirling apart at the seams she doesn’t know... at the same time, while most eyes are on Egypt, more and more of our precious liberties are slip-sliding away... every freaking day there’s an onslaught of tyranny that puts any fictional novel to shame... because who would believe it? Meanwhile, folks are starving here. Shameful, given the ‘let them eat cake’ attitude of the top gov thugs, who spend money like it grows on trees, and lack for nothing. The suffering of folks at the hands of black-hearted banksters, corrupt O-fficials and the global elite psychopath rises exponentially. Did you know that many folks who could pay their mortgage if the banks refinanced their homes at the current rates, are being denied, and foreclosed on? Why? There is no reason, other than outright criminal greed. Oh yeah, now FACEBOOK is aligning itself with the GOLDMAN SACHS WALL STREET GOONS who stole all the bailout money [and are stealing trillions more now]... and, yes, Facebook and Goldman are creating a virtual casino economy designed to suck everyone into a gulag-like system of even more debt and a worse poverty. Beware.

For the following week, and for the next month, the dominant story on the world stage will bounce back and forth. Or, follow the bouncing ball. Economic woes explode around the globe, leading to large-scale unrest and an increase in riots. Even where the blazes are extinguished by a change in leadership, other fires will erupt and become a firestorm.

It is likely to be revealed in a major way that the flames of unrest are not only because people are hungry and brutally oppressed, but the riots are being fueled by the dark-force elite in their bid for ultimate control. Blowback against these enemies of humanity continues.

Also, look for the UNEXPECTED. ‘Out of the blue’ will be king this week as the kingmakers attempt to maintain their control in our beloved country. As unpopular policies are introduced, there is likely to be a backlash of major proportions. This backlash may not be apparent, at first, but is likely to become an avalanche in due time.

Hold onto your hats this week. Once again, the winds of change are fast and furious. Prepare not only for the storms of life that now arrive, but for more nasty winter storms. And, for those of you who use natural supplements, stock up on the ones you use regularly. This is especially true for any supplements used to combat flu-like illnesses.

Career choices are likely to be an important theme this week for some. This is the time, not only to look at your heart, but to take stock of the fast-changing future. What choice will serve you best in being self-sufficient?

Earthquake energies are rising to the surface now. The land changes are upon us. Keep vigilant, and as always, stay prepared.

In the trend department, many are learning how to construct their own houses using alternative methods. If you have a knack for these skills, now is the time to learn more and put them to use.

Get Cozy for Valentine's Day!

February is gearing up to be, basically, an all-around good month. Sure there will be the usual conflicts that occur in some way, shape or form every month, but on the whole, this will be a pleasant journey.

The month begins with some of the aforementioned conflicts as the Sun, in stubborn Aquarius, conjuncts fiery Mars on February 4. Attempts to compromise will be futile, and heated debates could arise. Fortunately, though Aquarius is stubborn, it's also tolerant. Agree to disagree, and you may find that letting go of problems is much easier than you thought.

Sensible Saturn will meet up with the Sun and Mars on the 6th. This alignment will help you move forward with plans that were previously stymied, but not without a lot of work. Perseverance and persistence are the name of the game if you want to achieve a positive and successful outcome. Fortunately, the 6th will also see sophisticated Venus charm its way into a sweet opposition to Jupiter, giving you an opportunity to step away from the work and get out and enjoy yourself.

On the 10th, Venus moves on to seduce Pluto, which can lead to possessiveness, jealousy and a hint of manipulation. Nothing that a few sweet compliments can't soften, though. Just be sure you don't let anyone pull your strings, and that you treat others with the same respect.

A week later, Neptune enters the scene by conjuncting first the Sun on the 17th and then Mars on the 21st. Neptune can feel like a veil is pulled over your eyes. Things may not be what they seem, and you may experience low energy and weak willpower. Neptune can also bring spirituality, compassion and glamour. Allow the good and the bad to combine: plan ahead to enjoy a few lazy days, letting reality go and having fun with daydreams, books and movies.

The Neptunian influence continues as the astronomical action moves from Aquarius into Pisces (ruled by Neptune) toward the end of the month. First the Sun enters Pisces on the 19th, where it will stay for a month, then on the 21st, Mercury moves in for two weeks, while Mars starts its 5-week Pisces stint on the 23rd. With the planets in Pisces, you'll feel more intuitive, artistic and emotionally self-protective. Finally, tempers will calm, and peace will reign.

As the month ends, Pluto returns to the scene, first squaring Jupiter on the 25th, and then meeting up with the Sun on the 26th. Pisces can be a bit scattered, but Pluto entering the mix will help you pull things back together and get organized. The extra boost from Jupiter does wonders for self-confidence, and February will close out on a high note.

Sylva pushed her big toe into the center of Zeke’s foot, and circled. She waited for his reaction, wondering if she pressed on an acupuncture point. Her cowboy’s eyes darkened, and he didn’t immediately continue with his joke telling. “Did Mr. Third Pinkerton point to his beard?” she asked. “Sure enough, he did, darlin’. Don’t that feel stimulatin’?” Sylva kept stimulating for a moment, then stroked her big toe downward until she reached the end of his heel. Seeing his appreciative smile, she circled his heel with a slow deliberation. “So, did the Pinkerton rooster toss down his drink, too?”

Zeke decided to enjoy a few more moments of his woman’s fine stimulating toe massage. “You surely do have a way with a man’s foot, darlin’.” His Sylva gave him a feminine ‘cat ate the cream’ smile that not only stud-juiced his loins, but pleased his soul. “Now,” Zeke drawled, “instead of tossing it down right away, the Pinkerton leaned an elbow on the bar, and took a taste of the whiskey. Joe watched him savor, and continue tasting rather than just swallowing it down. Like some sort of fancy boots connoisseur, the Pinkerton drank the last of the whiskey.”

New Bill Gives Obama ‘Kill Switch’ To Shut Down The Internet

The federal government would have “absolute power” to shut down the Internet under the terms of a new US Senate bill being pushed by Joe Lieberman, legislation which would hand President Obama a figurative “kill switch” to seize control of the world wide web in response to a Homeland Security directive.

Lieberman has been pushing for government regulation of the Internet for years under the guise of cybersecurity, but this new bill goes even further in handing emergency powers over to the feds which could be used to silence free speech under the pretext of a national emergency.

“The legislation says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines or software firms that the US Government selects “shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed” by the Department of Homeland Security. Anyone failing to comply would be fined,” reports ZDNet’s Declan McCullagh.

The 197-page bill (PDF) is entitled Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, or PCNAA.

Technology lobbying group TechAmerica warned that the legislation created “the potential for absolute power,” while the Center for Democracy and Technology worried that the bill’s emergency powers “include authority to shut down or limit internet traffic on private systems.”

The bill has the vehement support of Senator Jay Rockefeller, who last year asked during a congressional hearing, “Would it had been better if we’d have never invented the Internet?” while fearmongering about cyber-terrorists preparing attacks.

The largest Internet-based corporations are seemingly happy with the bill, primarily because it contains language that will give them immunity from civil lawsuits and also reimburse them for any costs incurred if the Internet is shut down for a period of time.

“If there’s an “incident related to a cyber vulnerability” after the President has declared an emergency and the affected company has followed federal standards, plaintiffs’ lawyers cannot collect damages for economic harm. And if the harm is caused by an emergency order from the Feds, not only does the possibility of damages virtually disappear, but the US Treasury will even pick up the private company’s tab,” writes McCullagh.
